Zoe, I'm guessing you/Swiss know Sal (Scoobychic). She got a Desire about the same time I did and really loves/raves about hers, best phone she's ever had. She could give you the low down on it.
There is only a 2 week wait direct from apple for the 32gig version and you know you won't be bumped I would rather buy a sim free HTC desire to pass the time before the iphone arrived than pay that sort of wedge
She realised that the stock apple headphones were the only ones that stopped the echo she had when using hands free so she purchased a few for her car and she is all sorted

Seriously. Do you think the "it doesn't work" line carries any residual amusement value, given the timing of this post of yours relative to the many posts on your "recalled" thread which prove that as a phone it works very well?
In light of that, you quite possibly are the only one who "laughs at those who queued" for an Iphone 4.
There are plenty of people laughing, but most of them are laughing, with a certain degree of embarassment I suspect, at you.
I'm going to add cringeworthy to that list of best to describe your current posting style.

But myself and the good lady mrs swiss have a dilemma*
Tomorrow our local o2 store opens at 8:02 am and has limited stock. We both are going for the upgrade so need to purchase and take out contracts. Problem is we have children at two different schools at opposite ends of town and need to do the school run !
So how do we get in there get the phones and get the ankle biters to school ?
Tricky one and we have tried coming up with different options.
Any remarks like you sad git and it's only a phone will be ignored
