I cannot understand what the dilema is....
Any caring parent would take the kids with them and make the kids late for school of course getting your new iphone is the most important thing the kids education, well they can catch up surely ;-)
Failing that have a lie in and let the kids get them for you.

Well that was fun
dropped off the kids to school, nearly an hour early with a note pinned to them saying " if I look lost please direct me to the school gates at 9 a.m "
Shot back to town, quick coffee stop and then arrived at the O2 store to find..............
A queue of even sadder people than myself
27 in fact which considering the store did not open for another 1 1/2 hours made me feel better that I had not got there earlier !
Very good natured queue, all had a bit of a laugh and a right cross section of iphone geeks. One woman was on crutches and another one looked like she was 8 months pregnant..now that is dedication for you
This is the queue when I arrived in front of me.

O2 store staff came out to chat and were besieged with questions but tried to divert our attention with free muffins...clever buggers

Mrs swiss joined me after an hour or so and queue jumped..the sly woman
This is the queue that all looked at her with evil intentions !

It looked like they had between 60-70 phones so considering the queue was 120 deep at one point, some people were going to be disappointed
Finally got in, got mine signed up, paid some money and got the small box in my sweaty hands

And this is Mrs Swiss just about to get hers. She may not look excited in this picture but believe me she was !!

Total time waited............
nearly 4 hours

Swiss,
I was going to write a nice long laconic and acerbic appraisal of just how sad I think you are for being in this queue. Then you posted a pic of your lady and all I can say is that (if that really is your lady of course
) you must have more about you than I realised... so..... glad you enjoyed the queue and got what you wanted... you only partially sad git

£50 a month over 18 months. reduce the contract in 9 months to £45
Probably wont use the 1200 minutes anyway
Been with o2 for ages and they meant I could get the phone, for a decent price and not have to port over the number or have the hassle

very good, ive just done mine manually with this link http://shop.o2.co.uk/new-iphone/aboutsimswap.html i want to use it
This doesn't sound good http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8759590.stm it'll be interesting to see how it affects reception (if at all) at your house
Anyone got one and noticed this? I was planning on getting one soon but this doesn't sound good, my mate is on Vodaphone and he never has reception on his 3gs and they have changed his sim and phone to try and cure it.

We charged Zoe's one up today so it's already to go once it's activated.
