Voda announced a while ago it was changing its unlimited model!

Always was hidden behind the "fair usage crap" anyway..

basically, anyone on an existing "unlimited" sorry, fair usage tarrif will stay on it

once you change to the new iphone, or any other data phone you loose the unlimited tarrif, and move onto a chargeable tarrif.

its all about milking the customer

Personally I think 02 have shot themselves in the foot by capping thier data rates as I now think thier price plans are hopeless and to get a 600minutes package you have to pay £45 a month. Tmobile has a fair usage of 3gig per month and it looks like Voda's is going to be 1gig. I see a lot of deserters from 02 once contract renewal comes around.

I had my iphone replaced under warranty on Friday last week. Not sure if the stats are stored on the sim (so you know what you've used from the network) or on the phone.
I'm either a very light user or mega heavy one!

Cellular Network Data
Sent 199MB
Received 653MB

Now if that's during the full term of when I've had the sim (a year next week) that doesn't seem very much and likewise if it's from when I've had this new phone then bloomin'eck!

I do most of my data usage over wifi.

Hardly Swiss

I'm following the thread closley so was looking forward to the info,

not an applesqe statment regarding some potential ether!!!

if it wasnt for the fact that some clever surfer captured the page, it would

have been hot air.

Tim's link showed everything as well you know. It could not be clearer.
I could not link to the website because I was mobile and just put up a post using the quick reply button on SN as I was navigating a difficult junction in the car, whilst texting, eating a rather tasty sandwich and trying not to spill my latte .

EFA

Panic over people

I think my original post may have been slightly off the mark. Maybe it was the initial data spike that caused concern, but now over 24 hours later and normal usage, the total is only 32MB so hardly anything to concern me.

I could end up eating my words though once I start multitasking on the new iphone
