Nice one

My Q6700 usually sits at around 3.55ghz and it is pretty much the same chip anyway.

I can not get more than 1.5v v-core from my mobo so i have never managed to get it any higher, and it has never crashed for a long time, we are talking months of heavy duty gaming

Although a few weeks back, the bios battery went flat and it lost all its settings
So i had to start again, but now i can not get it past 3.44ghz and i can not be bothered to do any more bloody tests to try and eek out the final bit of performance

With PC is its same as car, tune up for better results on dyno,on PC better results in 3D Mark and other benchmark.
I think 3.44ghz its very good result,if is stable, that's good.I managed top on my i7-920 5.00ghz but on air and has been very unstable and very hot.Now i have 4.3ghz stable for every day using. If you want up and overclock try other CPU heatsink(cooler) or much better new motherboard.I know in my case,i last time try to overclock my friend AMD X4 with older MB and top has been 3.4ghz,after this my friend brought new MB from Gigabyte and manged almost 4.2ghz on water.

I had a pc built by Cyberpower in January and I had a choice between a HD5770 or the older 4890. As my funds were limited at the time due to buying a 23" HD monitor, (Philips 230C) and a multifunction printer, I chose the HD4890. Especially as the 5770 is only 128bit.

I run MW2 at the highest available resolution, 1920X1080, without a single hang up. I will upgrade the card in the future but for now it is stomping.

Try Crysis on Maximum on 2560x1600(i play on my Dell 30" and 5970 in CF) with 4890,probably with 4890 you get at maximum 15fps with AA on/AA off you get max 25fps,on my 61fps on 2xAA,DX10,Enthusiast on single 5970
