Hi Ian,

All arrived this morning at 10.30,painted hubs look spot on mate and well worth the extra you charge .

Just one thing............perhaps if you could cut down the use of parcel tape to just 1 or 2 rolls per parcel you could pass this saving onto the customer..........must have taken me bloody 10 minutes to open that box,i pity your loved ones at christmas if that's how you wrap their gifts!!

LOL .

Thanks again.

Picked up mine today,

Stunning quality discs, thanks Ian

They came with the bells painted in black which quite frankly if you don't do it YOUR AN IDIOT

when i painted my oe discs, i scrubbed off the rust and smoothrited them which took most of the weekend which annoyed the wife and these are by far done much much better and only cost me a little under £250 and that includes a litre of top notch 5.1 brake fluid which has'nt annoyed the wife.

Plus Ian is a thoroughly nice bloke who does all the discs himself so you know your not buying some cheap chinese rubbish that is being passed off as quality

Thumbs up

I know i'm on a subaru forum but i'm gonna nick a volkswagon slogan:

If only everything in life was reliable as Ian Godney!

Discs look absolutely fantastic and i'm sure that i'll see better performance compared to the standard set up. The delivery was extremely fast and exactly as i was told it would be "you'll receive a txt letting you know that the discs have been despatched and the estimated time of delivery". The discs were delivered dead on time making this whole transaction smooth and hassle free, as all transactions should be!

So thanks very much for that, and for the advice, i would (will) without hesitation, use you again and i would certainly reccomend Ian to anyone looking for replacement brake component parts.

Regards
Rick

Many thanks for that Rick

For anyone looking to order , the couriers we use will text you by 9am and give you an hour time slot during the day that your parts will be delivered , we think its a great system as then someone doesn't have to wait in all day waiting for a delivery , as it will be delivered within the hour slot they give you.

Another part of the good service I feel we give , Great prices , good advise , a very fast delivery , and a timed drop off for the parcels

Why go anywhere else

Cheers Ian

Hi andy. Had your Discs fitted Saturday. Quality! Love em to bits. Feel great, look great and now I stop. Even the garage was impressed with em. Even more so with the Price. I know it's been said before but.. Top Quality Discs, At a Very Good Price, Spot on Delivery Service (took us 2days to open with the tape on) and a Genuine nice Guy and Company to deal with.

Here's afew shots I took having them fitted. Thanks again Ian, Craig

Both got started straight away, like a Pit Stop!

Old discs removed and ready for the bin!

State of these pads...

New discs and pads fitted...

Bluestuff Pads fitted...

As they stand now...

Ian,

Spoke to you earlier on the phone regarding 277mm / 266mm discs for my Legacy - which you kindly offered to me at the Scoobynet group buy price. As Im interested in doing the occasional track day, what other pads could you supply for my car (2005 Legacy 2.5 SE) that would be suitable?

I know someone else on the UKLegacy forums is currently using your discs with Ferodo pads - and had absolutely no problems during 9 laps at the Nurburgring

Thanks

LegacyBod a.k.a. Dave

Hi Ian, could you please give me your recomendations for my car and driving style.
Classic '00 facelift. 320bhp 300ft torque.
Weekend medium paced driving with the odd steady trip or 2 in the week with the kids.
Possibility of 1 or 2 track days a year, dont mind swapping pads for these as id rather have a better setup for the road.
Many thanks, Dave

Dave a , The blue stuff pads would be better for both of you than the Kevlar ones , the kevlar ones are a good first upgrade from standard , but not really suitable for track days , the bluestuff are very good from cold , and will take anything you throw at them.

I can supply you 294mm discs and pads for the 4 pots for £199 all in , I know your paying twice the money , but no point is fitting pads that won't be suitable for your usage , it would end up spoiling your fun , with the blue stuff pads , you wouldn't have to change them for track days , leave them in for all your driving.

Legacy bod
I'll sort out a price for the bluestuff pads for yours , they will be cheaper than the 4 pot pads , and these will again be ideal for your use , and in my opinion , better than the DS2500's

Cheers Ian

Hi
Drilled discs are too unreliable for fast road use and with good pads they can end up cracking , which is why we offer only grooved as we offer a 12 month guarantee on our discs , we can offer drilled discs as we do all our own machining , but we wouldn't offer any guarantee's on them

If you want my advise , fit grooved only ones
Cheers Ian

Another load of praise for Godspeed and Ian's service. Ordered these discs and pads on Monday afternoon and they arrived Tuesday morning. A couple of calls for tech support and they are all fitted. Very helpful at all times of the day.

Then lost a rattle plate and rang for help, one dispatched for free today!

Outstanding Ian, thanks so much.
