Hi Ian.

I have a P1 which has black diamond pads and your own Godspeed grooved discs already on it.

Was recently at Rockingham for JapFest2 and experienced some brake fade, after just 2 flying laps.

What would you recommend I do to try and improve braking. Would this group buy offer make a big difference for me?

Was thinking of perhaps doing this, coupled with braided hoses and better fluid.

Hi
That will be down to the pads not being up to the job , our kevlar pads are not really suited to track days either , you will generate a lot of heat there and the pads are working above there heat ranges , which is why your getting fade.

We are trying out the latest Bluestuff pads and are finding them very good , these will be available shortly to buy with a price of about £125 a set , other than that mintex 1155 would suit , at around the same cost , or Ferodo DS2500 but these are expensive at £165 a set.
I have tried all 3 set , and the EBC bluestuff would be my choice

Cheers Ian

Hi Ian,

took delivery of my grooved discs today but unfortunately due to the weight of 4 discs being stacked upon each other, the bottom 2 (front discs) have been scratched on the rim of the black paintwork. I don't really want to return them as my car is on a ramp with all discs removed as I was hoping to get them fitted today and back on the road.
I can email pics if required.
Secondly can you just confirm the price for grooved discs/pads all round with black centres for MY03 WRX?
Many thanks
chris

Hi Chris
Sorry to hear that , as you can see all the discs are boxed separately , with the bells facing each other , which is the safest way of sending them , this way they will have two pieces of cardboard between each disc , maybe they were dropped in transit , I can either send you some touch up paint , or refund you for painting the fronts. If you can email me pictures I can see what they are like.

As a complete package of front and rear discs and pads its £220 , plus £5 a disc for spraying the centres , and £15 P&P , so £255 all in

Please email me the pics
Cheers Ian

Hi ian
thanks for your quick reply. I'll email the pics tomorrow. They were packed as you've stated so yes, perhaps they were dropped at some point.
They look great and looking forward to getting them fitted.
Thanks again

We will be having our first order of bluestuff pads this Monday , we have a batch coming for our 335mm kit that uses the oversized pads , these will be a good compliment to an already great performing kit.

As most know , we have had a couple of sets to try , and quite a few customers of ours have also fitted them to our brakes on there cars with great results , we would rather test the products ourselves instead of just jumping on the bandwagon at the last minute. And If I think they are up to it , we will offer them for sale , these pads passed with flying colours

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...SpecC002-1.jpg

This is one of our 335mm kits with the AP 6 pot calipers fitted to Tyron's car that was tested in this thread with some great results , so great that one of our competitors is even using these pictures to promote them

https://www.scoobynet.com/wales-26/8...-on-a4069.html

We will be having all other pad shapes sent out to us around the 10th of Sept when the first batch of production line pads are finished , no one supplier will get them first as they are claiming on there web site , they will be available to all the chosen suppliers of these pads.

We will as well be offering some very very good UNBEATABLE deals on the bluestuff pads and our own range of grooved discs , so keep an eye on the group buy pages at the end of this week

Buy with confidence from Scoobynets No1 ranked braking specialist

We are also taking names on a really really super dooper super special pre-order basis that I think is the best kind of pre-order you can get so once again , Godspeed lead the way

Ian,can you put me down for a set of front pads for the Impreza 4 pots and i will ring you on Monday with payment etc..........i will also want some Hel lines and fluid as discussed last week when i spoke to you (i assume the spirited journey you were about to take to see your car still didn't get the pads to fade!!).

Out of interest, can you get the Hel clutch line aswell (price?)?

Are the brake lines available with Hel's full range of colour options?

Hi
I can take your order for the pads but won't take payment until the day they are being sent out for you , yes gave them death over the mountain and they didn't fade
We can get anything from HEL for you , we don't have any clutch lines in stock , and all the hoses we have are clear coated , we can order any colour hoses you want and a clutch line , and there would be no delay as they have plenty of stock now
Speak to you monday
Cheers Ian

Hi Ian,

I've been chatting with Tyron at our SWS meets and he sings your praises loudly (is he on your books !! haha).

I've had my 2001 bugeye wrx wagon for over a year now and was never happy about the lack of bite and the fading from the brakes.

As i'm only up in Penarth i can pop down and grab a set of front and rear discs and pads with the painted centres off you.

How much would a set cost and how much would you charge for fitting. It's probably wise to change the fluid at he same time would'nt you say ?
as i don't know when it was last changed.

Cheers
