I am obviously just getting too old for all this as these just look silly to me and I cannot believe they do any good for the handling, ride etc.

This is the best example on the thread so far:
really defines the meaty tyre look imo. Any like this over here in the uk? some good examples so far but not quite there (mine included).

pretty meaty for a classic. they only rub a "little" bit
first 2 are before spacer. last one is with a spacer which is a bit on the wide side at 20mm.

They aren`t meaty tyres.

Rota Torques in 17 x 7.5 with a 42mm offset, with 225/45/17 Goodyear Eagle F1's, rear arches rolled & rear camber bolts with Eibach/Prodrive Springs.
