Thanks for all the comments. I've bought a £5.99 one (1.5m) from Amazon (Fisual Install Series GOLD Plated). It had some great reviews/feedback. Will see how it performs.

I have the 1.5m chord silver plus cable, it was a £90 cable that I got free with a subscription.

I also have a 5m qed cable, £45 (which I am ashamed to say I did pay for) and a cheap throw in cable and after extensive comparisons couldn't tell you which was which using ps3&a 37" panasonic plasma.

I run 4 plasmas with up to 30m HDMI cables that cost pennies. No drop outs or corruption of signal
