Thumbs up v5/6 front splitter in PU

Can't believe we've got to page three and nobody has asked for one of these. The Subaru ones are flippin' expensive and the only other one I can find is on ebay and the quality is poor.

I would love to see this slightly modified so the bottom edge is parallel to the floor. I think the P1 splitter is too big but the v5/6 could do with being a little larger.

Something in between would be great - by the end of the month will be fine

Ok, lets see if I can describe this so it makes some degree of sense.

What I like about the V5 is that it follows the line of the side skirts along the top edge . . .

. . . . but I don't like the way the bottom edge goes up towards the front of the car. (if you look at the side it looks like a wedge)

I would prefer that the bottom edge is parallel to the top edge and the ground, this would make the front edge lower, abit like your V-Ltd one.

I would however like the front to take in the air ducts and the sides like the V5.

If I knew how to do 'photoshop' I'd have a go at creating a drawing but I'm afraid I don't.

Clear as mud??

Hopefully this gives you an idea what I'm talking about - if it's any consolation I know what I mean

PU would be the way forward as well IMO

Please please please can you make a copy of the WRC spec carbon mirrors! I love the style just not the price and would want them body colour anyway! Is there any way you can?

Any news on the bugeye fog covers?

What about modding your wide-arch kit so it is vented at the rear of the arch, escort cosworth style if you get my drift

Something like this:
(photoshop)

I think the gaps should be left alone. Just continue the line in the side of the spoiler throughout and make it more level.
It does look great...more aggressive stand.

Well, I'm glad it's not just me. I like the V-ltd on bugs n blobs but the sides just don't look right on a classic, that's what I reckon anyway.

Thanks for that Poechi, that's getting there. Ideally, if I'm not getting too particular, what I'd like is the modified sides of the v5 and round to the lower grill where it will then merge into the V-Ltd lip under the existing bumper line. This may even leave a gap which could like cool.

Here we go - found this - lets throw this into the mix.

Wont the PU sag from the heat of the engine and turbo beneath?
