k guys good news for me (not so for kyle )
i will be picking the car up next week and will be taking off the parts i need and stripng the rest so if anyone wanted anything please send me a pm and we can sort out a price

the alternator belt pully on the crank couldnt have been fitted properly (its all worn away on the back) and its come off allowing room for the woodgruff key under the crank cam belt pully to come out. (also half the cam cover bolts were loose)
going to check the timing out and put a woodgruff key in and see if the engines been lucky and has survived.
if not its going to be an engine out strip down and weigh up the costs
