Thanks mate that’s very high praise indeed, big difference between my car and people like Frayz etc is they have done all the hard work themselves.

(plus I copy his good ideas )

HI all thought I would get another update posted up!

It been a busy few weekends with lots of very time consuming jobs, strut braces have been removed and powder coated, Kenwood camera fitted with custom handmade carbon bracket (no picture of the bracket as it looks S*** but it does do the job!) and lots of prep work for the Firewall fitting like removing cables off the parcel shelf, painting all the metal that’s going to be visible etc etc.

I have also removed my mirrors to get some glass cut to replace the Plastic, I am sure Prodrive would cry at the thought of adding weight to their mirrors but for safety on the road it had to be done!

Just waiting on some nice bolts and its time for fitting

Looking tidy, I've left the rear strut brace tops as they're hidden and was just too much hassle, but those carbon tubs do look good

Hey mate, thought I'd drop in on your build thread as it always fascinates me. How did you get on fitting the 3 piece parcel shelf after? I got mine from Rallytech too- takes a bit of dremel work to cut it precise though eh!

Hi Huzzy,

Slow progress to be honest, prep is done and I have done all the test fitting and cutting however Mr Clark sent me a very interesting mail and has got his hands on a set of Ohlin’s (part of the R&D for the Hawkeye model but the project was cancelled)

I decided it was better to get that work out of the way before fitting so it should be in early June just in time for Le Mans.

Have you got any photos of yours fitted? Interested to see how you did it see if its the same way I was planning on.

Hello mate, I got the parcel shelf but I'm not using it in conjunction with a fire wall- still using the standard back seats. It was extremely tricky to fit as obviously I needed to cut the bit out for the rear wiper and also where the rear sears are still installed I needed to cut where the seats 'hook' onto the latches. Also the 2 end pieces that fit down into the strut ends needed to be cut away quite abit. All in all I'd say I probably cut £50 worth of carbon fibre and threw it away. I did think about keeping it but couldn't really think of many purposes! I didn't take photos at the time but I took a few of the end product. A great addition to the car but fitting was made even harder due to it being 2 door with a harness bar! Took me about 3 hours to measure, cut and install but looks the business.

few updates,

RCM did a great job to get the car ready for Le Mans, rear brakes and Ohlins have really transformed the car, ride is hard but I am really pleased at how quickly the car settles down over the bumps. Very fast A-B all round car now! 800 miles of hard driving in France really put a smile on my face!

Firewall and door-cards are all fitted but it needs a good clean up and a few bits finishing off before I can take some photos,

Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys, starting to run out of job on my list, Still debating if I should add some s12b WRC vents or even the centre vent of the 1st hawk WRC car......

Interested in peoples thoughts S12b vents could be naked carbon or colour coded

Looks like the ultimate package. How do you like the new tyres? Would love to see a vid of this thing in action.

Mine is covered in fly's too.
