Well progress to be reported.
Now have an engine. From on here Mattybr5.
Heres the spec.
Version 1 to 4 forged engine done around 5500miles since built.. Including turbo/inlet/rcm pullies/clutch/fly
all parts brought by prev owner from rcm manly built using semi closed deck block 0.5overs size omega pistons arrow rods acl bearing rcm modded oil pump up rated thermo stat ect cosmetic head gaskets unsure on specs ov heads tho sorry was mapped on a s/r 55 turbo on apexi ecu by alan jeffary at engine tuner at 375.6bhp runs very well and pulls like a train many extra that iv not listed like new coil packs
Oh also got these.

Yeah not even driven i and was gonna upgrade my brakes!!
My list is so far shorter.
FSE, FMIC, Remap, Interior, paint.

fpr and parallel fuel rail mod, you want to look after that engine.

- x1 set of spare under-manifold fuel lines to cut up PLUS your old ones
Why:
To ensure equal fuel flow to each cylinder, you need to ensure pressure is kept equal in both rails. This is achieved using precisely identical lengths of hose for the feed and the return. What you want is one piece of hose going from the filter to a T-piece, which splits in 2 and runs to the fuel rails. Fuel goes through the rails, out the back and then you have 2 pieces of fuel hose (identical to the feed side) taking it back to another T-piece, which then takes it to your fuel pressure regulator mounted somewhere else in the engine bay (from the reg. it will then go down the return line to the tank).
How:
Get the elbows (which join the fuel rails) cut off your old fuel lines and have the ends swaged (so the hose doesn't pop off/leak. This is really easy and should cost you almost nothing.
Then, get the measuring tape out and measure the distance from the OUTLET of your fuel filter to the middle of the engine (where your T-piece splitter will be). Your return line to the fuel pressure regulator needs to be the same length as this feed line.
The lines going from each T-piece across to each rail should be the same length and i've found 300mm to be a good size as it is a bit longer than required (and therefore fits around the various pumps/wiring/etc under the intake manifold). Remember, you need to be precise when measuring to ensure equal flow.
Once you've trialled how it all goes together, fit it up, mount the fuel pressure regulator and adjust the pressure (for 380s it should be around 38psi, 440s will require 45psi I think) and tidy up the vacuum lines, etc.

Got a stop gap for my SHOCKING PAINT!!
Well she needs a re-spray, BUT before I spend a fair wedge on paint (will go Sonic Blue when sprayed). I`m gonna get her running and iron out potential problems, then uprate the injectors and get a FMIC, then get her mapped.
So as you can see MANY things can go wrong in the mean time, so decided to distract the attention away from the paint by doing this.
Full Subaru Vinyl kit, in Dark yellow and light blue shadow, full sponsor pack, and also a matching boot vinyl, seeing as mine has no badges at all!!
This WON`T be permanent, but will be till shes running 100% sweet and ironed out all the niggles she`ll no doubt have.
Then when sorted she`ll get the paint she`ll deserve.

Cheers buddy. Yeah so many nice older cars have fallen foul of this scrappage scheme too, when the opportunity came up to have the car I had to. Was only going to put a £500 engine in tbh, but when my Vectra blew a piston then threw a rod and holed both sides on the case, I decided to sell all of the many tuning mods, and upgraded parts for my Scooby. Still have bits to sell like a nice set of Recaro seats, front rear and door cards, shame they don`t fit the Scoob!
Just need a hand to remove the engine and fit the new one (I`ve no clue lol).

Sometime this week hopefully for the time being I`m free weekdays, but busy weekends. Can`t do it on the weekend as I`m an Area Rep on VVOC (Vauxhall Vectra Owners Club), and I`ve organised a 2 day fishing comp in Newport on the weekend (something different to do 
).
So sometime this or next week.

I can't help this week or next, but should be free after that. I have an engine swap for a peugeot diesel taking up space at the moment. This is hopefully going to be sorted Sunday, depending on the owners ability to get his ar$e out of bed.

This is more Insurance and peace of mind, more than anything else.
And I`m not fussed if its ott or whatever as long as it bring my insurance down lol.
Tracker Horizon.
TRACKER Horizon operates using TRACKER’S proven very high frequency (VHF) technology as with TRACKER Retrieve, but in the event of theft where the vehicle is moved without the ignition turned on, the motion sensor will alert TRACKER who will in turn notify YOU.
Tracker Horizon has all the functionality of TRACKER Monitor with the added benefit of Global Positioning System (GPS).
The benefit of this dual technology allows:
• GPS positioning information to locate the vehicle on computer based maps
• Information on the vehicle’s location and direction to be relayed to appropriate police force

Right been making some progress, basically pulled my finger out of my ****!! lol.
Bascially these pics are to help remind me where things go (as I`ve no clue lol).
Dropped the bonnet down off the daft ally blocks so looks a lot better.
One is an indicator bulb any idea what the other cable is for?? Fogs??
Missing bit on the gearbox.
Wheres the Earth cable usually attatch??
No vacuum hose to the FPR, no idea where it is either.
No vacuum hose to/from the turbo. Is it the Blue one in the pic??

Well forgot to take a photo of the air filter, which in my mind is a good way of seeing if the car has been looked after or not.
Well you tell me lol.
Front nearest engine looks all fine and dandy.
Intake nearest outside is another matter.
Better order a new one, and a fuel filter if the air filter is that caked in shiiite.

Yeah hopefully.
Could someone take a pic of the vacuum hoses that supply the turbo/manual bleed valve/and those two large vacuum pipes??
I know the central one of the 3 on top of inlet manifold, runs the FPR vacuum. But wanna make sure I connect the turbo vacuum feeds etc correctly, also will turn the manual boost controller so that its standard boost, as I wanna get it set boggo, then when I have a few other mods ready fit and get mapped.
