Thanks for the complements. I've uploaded all the vids I have, including a dodgy tunnel vid which looks like it's been sped up!! (It hasn't by the way)

Could be a fuelling issue at high revs, pump or pressure regulator maybe

Sweet, hope you get yours sorted

If you want a compression test doing to check the headgasket, drop me a PM.

thanks for the offer mate but i did a compression test last week on wednesday. i had 9.3 - 9.7 over all 4 pistons. but i am getting a rather large build up of pressure in my water system and its coming out of my expansion tank. did a block test but that didnt give anything conclusive and did a water pressure test and that didnt show anything. plus i took my oil cap off tonight and there is a slight bit of gunge in the pipe. very small but it wasnt there on wednesday.

Had a good day yesterday, I was nervous seeing somebody else 'rag' my car and thinking about what could go wrong , but it was good to see that Ajec Racing obviously know what they are doing.

I have posted up my dyno run but what I cannot figure out is that the BHP is quite near to what Bob gave me on my mapping session (within 1% which can be explained by ambient temperature) but the torque is down by around 20 lbs/ft of torque.

Plus if anyone want to see a video of my car on the rollers click on the link below:

Well i put plugs in the other day that had been laying around for a bit so i will order a new set tomorrow and change the fuel filter as it has'nt been changed for a while. So fingers crossed it's an easy fix

Strange noises were "Knocking" to the front and roof of my car when I was behind you Thought someone was knocking to get in, seemed to come from my wing mirror or above me on the roof !!!

Maybe you have some sort of Sound Wave Weapon in your exhaust It's gone now and dissapeard after we left you !!
BTW the "rag" people saw flapping, at your under rear, was still there Could be a Bat

sorry.. but that car is not strapped right.. look at the top end of the power curve.. it has lifted out of the rollers.. just watching your vids now to see if it can be seen on the video..

Also Bob wouldn't map it that lean, as I didn't map Lee's as lean as it is on the graph so I think their is an issue with Ajec's wideband reading lean on AFR.

yes..

in Lee's thread there is the AFR plot from surrey and nothing has changed on the car..

Bob wouldn't have mapped Cannon's car that lean either..

look at Lee's surrey rr boost profile

full boost at 3600~3700rpm

now the boost probile from Ajec

full boost 4500rpm.. so you would think boost issue, leak on the car etc..

however look back at the rpm it finishes on the surrey rr plot.. 7000rpm give or take a bit.. now the Ajec ---- 8000rpm give or take a bit.. seeing as the rev limit is lower than 8000rpm.. the engine didn't actually rev to 8000rpm.. the gearing was entered into the dyno wrong.. unfortunatly Lee's plots from Ajec are worthless..

infact looking at the AFR between the two on Lee's.. the shame is very similar just an AFR leaner on Ajec... so I presume the same with Cannon's..

but why would lee be so down on power though? if its only the reading are incorrect does that mean the bhp and ftlb levels are out?

I was a bit concerned over my readings too - my base was an Interpro RR readout of 246bhp and 248 lbft, with I believe, only a Firestorm back box - I 've added the following to my car, Sti TMIC, RCM Induction kit, Pink injectors, Spec C fuel pump, 3" Decat bellmouth, decat/de resonator exhaust and only managed 263 bhp, all with a Bob Rawle remap - with an estimate from him of around 290, maybe "even knocking on the door of 300".

Guy at Ajec told me I was slightly lean too but he said, safe with my boost levels of near to 1.5 bar.

I have a 4 speed Auto box, so they did say that I would show less

if we are all reading lean and this is wrong then i hate to think about dans fueling if they told him he was running really really rich .

the torque will be way way down due to those settings.. not 100% sure on the effect on the bhp.. I would expect Lee's to lose a little say 10bhp as I had to make it safe for all 6gears on the road after rr rather than just 4th lol.. but also if they cannot even setup the rpm then I doubt they will notice the turbo coming on song sooner as the exhaust housing gets warmer so it just needs a little coaxing.. tbh like most rr operators would.

its mad to think that the figure are down so much though. i know temps will of had an effect but not that much and a couple of others were down as well. plus im planning on using my graphs to perform my next mods and tweeks on performance.

i think i need to get mine done again. would appreciate a chat with yourself about some issues im having currently and believe your info might be more helpful and detailed compared to other.

yes like you say power may well be down a little.. different dyno etc..

I am just so glad Lee put his car on surrey previously otherwise I would be worried there was an issue somewhere..

I don't like slagging other or their work off but the two graphs I have seen from two different cars both look wrong.. ignoring power.. but just plain wrong.

Are there anyone elses graphs scanned?

drop me an email or pm when you want Mr_D

Thanks Simon, the dip in the power at the top of the graph does bother me slightly as I have looked on the Deltadash graph that Bob gave me after the mapping session and they do not correspond closely enough.

I also have a video of Lee's car on the rollers which I can put up if he doesn't mind.
