Just picked this up from Mark @ Lateral Performance this afternoon, Exedy Organic Pink Clutch Kit, cheers mate Same as the 6 speed I bought from Lateral last year for my Spec C. Great bit of kit, Rich (Fiestaboy) will fit next week along with a skimmed flywheel ready in time for the rolling road day the following week.

Jim your back!!! I thought you'd gone native bedouin & wern't comming back from the desert!!!
Thanks Rich gona change the pic!! Il just take a pic of it tmrw
Jim we seemed to have destroyed my current clutch after repeated map tweeking thrashings, plus it was ten years old !!! lolol On my Spec C its biting point was very hard to get especially on take off but once used to it was ok. Clutch was firmer to engage but gear changes were very positive & sharp, it almost catapaulted you into the next gear & could take a shed load more torque.

Got Alignment done today at Hounslow Tyres £45 (same as last time though prices have gone up from £35 to £50 rrp)
Still on std suspension so can't adjust castor & rear camber.
Front 1.25- neg camber
Front 0 toe
Rear 0.25 toe out
Cheers Jim
Then got rear arches rolled from Styledynamix in Hayes. Prices are £40 per arch. No paint issues apart from obvious hairline cracks in paint on underside of arch which will be touched up in due course. While rolling there is a small element of a pull as well as a roll. On four door cars & toughier heavier cars (e.g. German & Lexus) the pull is not really an issue, the top rim of the arch arch just gets pulled out a tad. But with the 2 door rear quater panel, which on a the Type R is pretty lightweight & bendy, this caused its own problems. When you roll/pull the arch the adjoining quater panel also moves & flexes too. So though the pull looks good on the arch, it has changed the lines & look of part of the rear quater panel. From some angles it looks spot on but from others it looks a bit forced & disjointed from the existing lines of the quater panel.
Well I suppose thats all part & parcel of doing meaty tyres & arch rolling!

Got a Zen reconditioned R180 plated rear diff from MustiTypeR, cheers mate & also thanks to Omar for helping with it.
Yesterday good ol Rich at FB Tuning fitted it & what a difference, the car has completley transformed itself & drives like a peach. I did'nt fully realise how bad the old diff must have been until now.
Back on the rollers to check the map in the next couple of weeks as last time was a waste of time/money as diff was knackered Hoping to pull approx 310bhp or there abouts. But I do have a way of jinxing everything in life!!! lolol
Then I must get round to fitting my gauges, had them for months sitting around gathering dust.
