Took my drivers door apart today & manged to fix the part wobbling glass & oiled the window motor & switches too for a far smoother operation. But managed to lose my intercoller spray bottle cap in the depths of my engine bay! Have to get to that another day!
Faffed about with the gauges & pod & even after trying to use the supplied extra holders & hoods they wont fit without some sort of 52mm to 60mm adaptor. James has kindly offered to make ones & Frayz has a template made up for billet ally ones!! So will eventually get round to fitting gauges & volt meter.
Bought this today from SN member used, APS BOV probably one of the best BOV's out there along withe the HKS SSQV. This one is up to 50/50 % recirc/VTA. (Or anywhere inbetween to 100% recirc) Holds over 30psi boost & good for 600bhp!!!!

Dont need my Volt meter anymore as with my gauges & FC Commander & Road Angel, there's enough bling on the dash!! Also discovered my Apexi does Volt Meter readings.
£18 what it cost me inc postage from Singapore. If any MSOC/ESC interested let me know before I stick it on For Sale section at approx £25.

"Monitors current voltage in a cool black case
- No need for ugly wiring in the engine, installation is painless and fuss-free!
- Digital LED Volt reading means precision, accuracy and quick response as compared to analog ones
- Easily mounted anywhere on the dashboard or on the steering wheel
The Dynamyx Volt Meter is an inexpensive but very accurate meter that does more than being a cool addition to aesthetics. Do you have a charging system that is being used at its maximum limit? From the Volt Meter, a loss of voltage will alert the driver of a failed alternator or an overstressed electrical system and give the driver enough warning before he loses full power. Especially useful for drivers with high usage of the charging system (i.e. In Car Entertainment, Performance Electronic components)."

To all the non believers & doubters out there (inc myself!) Iv done it!! Iv fitted my recirc/vta APS blow off valve myself!! lolol
At first it threw me a bit as it seemed it wouldnt fit, but for Ver6's you have to open the bottom of the dump valve up & fit extra metal connector in place of original cover. A couple of trips down to the local hardware shop for jubilee clips & longer rubber boost pipe & all done in 1.5 hrs
Only thing is new pipe is a couple of mm bigger in diameter but very secure as held in place with jubilee clips. Will have to replace with new Samco etc hoses in future. Currently adjustment screw is almost fully closed tight, which I believe means its set close to fully recirculating? Though it still does vent around approx 1 bar boost, not too loud though. Have to play around with adjustment screw to see what diff it makes?

James you were right mate, there was nothing wrong with my shock. It was sticking rather than knocking. I jacked up the back, pulled the shocks plastic cover up and found it covered in dried up mud. Cleaned it off and sprayed synthetic grease all over and into shock. Did both sides and now shock is fine!

5mm blue silicone vacum hose now ordered for pricley sum of £2.98
And a new pink grill badge to replace the faded old one. An ebay Hong Kong black WRC badge was also binned earlier today!
While at the mini roundabout on Oxhey lane the other day I almost got T-boned by a lady in a Chelsea tractor, I quickly bashed on the horn & then subsequently almost died with embarresment & stupor!!! I would have more affect by frankly opening the window & burping in her direction. Add to this, the tone does in fact sound like "Noddy" doing a fart & that sums up the incident.
To avoid looking like a pillock in future I have gone & ordered something that will now make me look like a complete & utter pillock instead:
Stebel Nautlius Brio BP3 (Click on BP3 type sound button in link below)
