Bulk buy - Roadkill Sound Deadening from South Africa
#33
Used this stuff extensively in my MY02 to do boot and doors. Very good stuff for the price. Used Dynamat on my previous cars and the end result using these I think is a bit better. Packaging is not as nice and the sheets are more brittle when cold but otherwise worth every cent/penny.

Thanks for that mate. I'd never heard of the stuff before & neither had a lot of others. It's good to have someones opinion that's actually used it before.

I'll keep my eyes peeled on the news for the Flaming Staffs Scooby
I'm guessing you'll want delivery
So Far we have:
Ga22ar 1
Nib 1
Me 2
Jerome 2
Andy 1
Dyney 1
Ralph Lauren 1
Velryba 1
Toby 69 2
motomc 1 1
miles 1
scooby-si 1
ChrisB 1
That's 16 packs so we are currently in line for the cheaper price & i'm still looking for cheaper delivery than £8.99 + vat. I've got all your e-mails so i'll keep you posted.
A few people who want some are currently away on holiday & won't be returning until 20th April so I won't place the order until then (well when I calculate costs & get the money in).
If you know anyone else that's after some let me know & i'll add them to my list.

Yep That & the fact that quite a few people are on holiday at the moment so there's no real point in starting to order yet.

I was actually hoping to get the money request in on Monday or Tuesday. After organising a rolling road b4 I know how long it can take to get some money in because not everybody checks their mail every day. I'm guessing that if not all the money has arrived before next weekend and your friends are quick then we can probably squeeze them in Like you say you should be able to get three packs delivered anywhere in the UK for £8.99 + VAT so that will be approx £3.50 each if you get three packs

Sorry to anyone else who's interested but a deadline has to be set or i'll be forever revising my costs & everyone is now paying up.

As per mail:
Hi,
Totally sounds like they're takins the **** how is it cheaper 4 them 2 air only small orders air costs r based of weight & i'm sorry but if they offer a better price 2 us if we have a bulk deal then surely freight is included in that!?
2 b honest if that's all that's on offer im not overly bothered i'll still go with it as it's guna b 4 when i can afford ICE upgrade which aint yet so not in a rush but the logic seems totally feked there so that seems weak & i'd wana better reason 4 y we shud pay more kuz we're givin em such good business.
I work in the supply trade & if a supplier tried that i give em shyte as there seems 2 b limited logic but obviously the ***** in yer court & wotever u can manage i'm happy 2 go with but the principle seems feked up 2 me????
Further more i ship stuff from Japan in my business & that only takes 4 weeks so WTF is with a 7 week lead date 4 shipping from SA? ? Total **** take even allowing 4 shyte with customs it shouldn't take that long?!?!?!?!!?
Si
$hit!! What do you think about what the guy from Roadkill says??

>If delivery is urgent you might want to divide the 176kg into 2 parts and an extra £50 airfreight. Run this by your customers, they might not want to pay the extra

Further more if they aint payin 4 any air freight at all then surely purchase price shud b lower as their costs clearly will be shipping is so much cheaper than air freight so if they aint guna have 2 pay 4 100kg or wotever than total shud b less?????
Not yer fault i realise but surely they r trying it on?

Yep got the original cheque Cheers.
Right at the moment i've received cheques totalling £389.37. None of these have been cashed yet. In order to place the order (i.e. before UK postage) I need £405.80. The main hold-up is:
Dyney £34.47
Ralph Lauren £20.57
After these two payments have been made then I will make the T/T to South Africa. That will only leave me about a tenner short because of the adjustment I had to make (which you are all aware of)
Dyney as I already owe you & Ang £20.00 you can just pay me the difference of £14.47 . Just realised but that actually takes me over the required £405.80 for Roadkill (£409.37). The remainder that I need will be for UK postage so I will need the money ASAP.
I will go to the bank tomorrow & bank the cheques. I will also arrange for a T/T once the funds have cleared.
I have just put all the figures into Excel so i'll mail them to you later. I don't have Excel at home which is why all the original figures came on word documents
