BTTT for you Rob.
Having competed against this car at scoobysprint I can agree what has been said about it, who-ever buys it will get a cracking car does everything it says on the tin plus more.

Why is this car in the higher tax bracket? Cut off is march 06 so this should still be in band K? Its on a 54 plate so should be in band K.

UK Road Tax Prices | Vehicle Car Tax Rates | Car Tax Calculator | Vehicle Excise Duty - Parker's

Even 2.5 Hawkeye Stis before 23march 06 are in band K then after 23 march 06 move to band M

Stunning machine all the same glws

I believe it's the date the car is first registered in the UK. If this one only came over 3 years ago it's after the cut-off for the cheaper tax.

Yep, think Rob is still on standard bottom end which is more than reliable for the power its running, its not a type uk with chocolate parts.

I have a 2005 spec c on a 54 plate which was imported into the uk in 2007, so although it is a 2005 car its date of first registration in the uk is 2007 which puts it in the higher tax band simples.

Right im back on-line now so can answer some questions and pm's, the car is still on the standard bottom end which can take the power easily with a very safe map from richard bulmer running 1.6bar. As for the tax read dantastics post above, ive not got a clue as i just pay the money and stick the disc in . Ive had alot of interest in the car in the past week and will get back to every one tonight. This is a very fast reliable car with no faults in anyway.

Who cares what tax band, it can't effect selling a car like this surely?

What you save on cheaper road tax you spend on mods anyway.

Top class car, only scoob Id go back to.

Bump for ya Rob.

I hope the new owner looks after it as well as you obviously have, it would be criminal to neglect a stunner like your spec c mate.

Well done on the sale Rob, just wished i had come up on the Sunday rather than leaving it till the Mon!!
Certainly looked a great car at a bargain price!
Really appreciate you sending me that text to save me too much of a wasted journey(teach me not to turn my mobile on in the morning!)
