I can bring my EcuTEK logging gear with me at a future WMI event, when the weather picks up and we can find out how your car performs if you wish. Don't worry, the acceleration run is in one gear and from a rolling start..... perfectly safe on the car.
Don`t forget the "twisties". Performance aint just in a straight line...

Afternoon all
If it's a OEM Ecu that is compatible with EcuTEK I can log it, performance test it and even give you a Dyno Graph (using the same facility as Bob Rawle does).

I also have a Racelogic VBOX to do all sorts of other performance testing. This is the box of tricks that the MLR use for their famous 30-130mph events.

You supply the venue and I'll supply the boxes of tricks.

Cliff,
Absolutely..... but in this case we're talking about raw power and how this transfers to the black stuff..... which is where it counts.

If we go to an airfield for the day I would hope we do more than sit and "data log" cars individually

Evening guys,

My car won't be seen at many meets probably until late summer as I've taken it off the road to do a 400bhp build.

I also want to get it looking exactly as I want it to and have thought about a hawkeye front end conversion

Off the road to do 400bhp? Just buy a turbo, some injectors and get it mapped, and you'll be there !

gonna do some myself I think mate, also want to go front mount too I think. It will just be easier with the car off the road as it's an everyday car I will be saving on fuel plus insurance as I will have the car sorned whilst doing everything once that is sorted I will be sending it to the bodyshop to get paint touched up in one or 2 places and do a few styling bits whilst I'm at it

however I might put up a few cryptic pics and see if you guys can guess whats gonna be going on to the car

Completely agree mate but being as I've just got myself a new job with a nice pay rise and am happy to let the missus drive around the Christmas period to attract less attention from the boys in blue in her corsa and the fact that I don't live too far from work means that now is the ideal time to have it off the road.

it will also give me time to get the right components that will work best for my driving style rather than just going for out and out power, I would like 400bhp but would be happy with slightly less or more if the car delivers the power the way I would like it to

I used to love my MR2 turbo lol

320 bhp and would do 27 to the gallon driven nicely too, and although many will tell you that they are dangerous in the wet I never had a problem with it once. Unless I started provoking it but even then the LSD made things quite easy to keep control of.

On another note I'm thinking of buying a rover metro to get me about lmao just want something dirt cheap that I don't have to care about
