hi there,guys,i bought a wrx import about 1month ago,i was out for a run last nite and decided to open it up a bit,i dropt it from 5th to 3rd and planted the foot but i only got as far as 87-mph in 3rd gear then hit the limmiter (strange cos i thot it should have done more than that), what do you's think???? could it still be restricted??? i have no idea as im usually a vauxhall man but thot id change and go for the jap car's, my brother has the fto 2l v6 and he gets 100-mph in 3rd NOT GOOD THAT A FTO CAN BEAT ME

Thanks for all the kind words today from those that knew, kept it to myself really, went to hospital today, I have a Gilmore Groin injury, basically a mild hernia that presses on the bowl that give similar Symptoms to the big C, they wont do anything unless it gets worse, so good new although ive got to live with the niggling pain, footballers get it, I new I was a highly tuned athlete

So what you planning for next year then mate?
Mine is currently running between 430 - 450bhp as andrew guesses. But loosing low down torque and very laggy at the moment due to avcs heads not working but that will be sorted soon along with an harveys up pipe and just a map tweak. This almost brings me to the end of stage 1 but also planning on some big power next year!

Mine is currently running between 430 - 450bhp as andrew guesses. 430 bhp in a classic would be awsome full big build for me next year some time mate try get some big power me think

Yeah really happy, took a gamble and stayed with 2.5" system and it bit me in the *** and restricted it to estimated 375 (would have been nearer to 390 with 3") but will rectify that next year when I go for front mount where Andy Carr thinks I should hit 410. The car is soooooo smooth though considering its a 20g its about 500-700rpm slower than the vf but drives so much better than the vf and pulls all the way to the red line.
Ive used all Harvey headers, up-pipe, turbo and I'm so glad I did I highly recommend his kit.
