BTW fellas, there's a film coming out (you can get it via bittorrent. cough.) called Born to Race.

It has a scooby as the main car

Here's the trailer:

I would never condone copying films.. Its very naughty.

WHat Im doing, is PREVIEWING it for everyone else and if its any good, I'll let you know. Then when the movie is actually released, I'll buy the original. £18 for a Bluray is a lot of money, wouldnt want to spend that on a **** film (Ive got enough of those already) so I'll preview it, then I will buy it.

H, I'll "lend" you a preview copy. If you accidentally copy the DVD (it happens all the time, accidentally of course) then its nothing to do with me....

Called in at Pole today too (yes, I saw Ad's car, yes it looks good) as I've got 'a noise'.

Sounds like a wheel bearing going, but only does it at certain speeds and there's no play or grinding in the wheels :/

When I'd finally finished talking to them about my car and the whole team had downed tools to come and gawp and take pictures, I got to take one of them out for a blast to listen, but obviously it didn't make the noise...

One of them suggested that since it only does it at motorway speeds, and it's 'quite' low, there might be enough downforce generated to put the chassis rails on my drive shafts (which it does when I hit bumps anyway), so I'm going to smash them out the way a bit more (more than it has done itself already) and see if that cures it. If not I'll be taking it back at some point in the week for them to have a look.

My car is going back in on Thursday for an oil change and to do a bit of fault finding as I suspect I may need a new radiator

Haha, one of them did say 'you might have to consider raising it a little' but he kinda trailed off halfway through the sentence as he see could by the un-impressed look on my face that it wasn't an option

Couldn't say Matt, don't know name, it was the guy in the black fleece that came out with me. Not the first person to suggest raising it, and I'm sure they won't be the last! And yes, being low is a massive ballache, but totally worth it

Think you'll be seeing it again, I liked the idea of the downforce/chassis thing, but it was doing it at 30/40 on the way home, so that kinda nulls that idea :/

Not sure where the 'poor handling' comments are based, wide wheels, wide stance, stiffened suspension, low COG, negative camber, they can all only make the handling better in my book.
