I'm having a slight dilemma with mine at the minute, I'm not sure if my downpipe is a long or short type and the centre section I am going to have custom made will be fitted at a different garage to the place where I'm having my downpipe fitted (downpipe fitted at pole position)
The downpipe is a full 3" but the centre section that's currently on the car is 2.5" flange, I'm unsure if the two will mate up and if they do then it will probably blow like a hooker
do you think it would be safe to drive from willenhall to Kingswinford with it blowing? it will be staying off boost and driven very gently

When I had my downpipe made by Hayward and Scott, it was for my old blob WRX. They fit the downpipe, and adjusted my centre section at the same time. This was a good few years ago mind you.
Then I just swapped it on to the STi when I bought it.
Personally in your situation I would have fit the downpipe myself, then drove to your exhaust place without the centre section and back box. Then have then adjust and refit the centre and back box.

thanks tez. just changed drivers rocker and spark plug gaskets today. fixed nothing lol still got oil pissin out. so im a bit miffed with her tonight. inlet manifold off tomo so i can get a good look at whats going on .
theres a long list of faults if anyone can help me. someones stuck an fmic on and butchered the flitch to get it in. original 16" sparco wheels gone. no plaque on dashboard. rear seat needs replacing. original low spoiler gone.

WMI member 'prodriverules' is your man for spraying, if required . P.S a pair of nice wmi stickers in gold will look the business
