Ignore that, what a complete waste of time

The chap had an attitude problem and the bodywork was a mess and not as described so we walked out on the deal. The div hadn't even checked the oil level prior to us getting there, it was empty

Was a good late adventure out either way

Hi Guys, had a problem for about 9 months now, my seatbelt light kept coming on for a few days, then off again for a few weeks, went like this till 2 weeks ago, now its on all of the time. I guess this is actually a good thing as the problem can now be found, so does anybody know a decent place to get the problem both diagnosed and fixed?

Had 3 bugs and never had a problem with it nor do I know of anyone who has until you, but the 4 french motors I've had the misfortune of driving have all had it.

Like mark says probably resistor or dry joint.

[Quote.... GaryWRX, march 2011
I have had similar issues in my 03 WRX. On a couple of occasions the airbag light has stayed on permanently for a couple of weeks then by the time I get round to getting it sorted it disappears again. Never have found out why .........]

theres loads of people on the net with the same problem, i will have to give SY a bell and see if he can help me... In the meantime does anybody know if the bags are still active when the light is on, or is the whole system disabled?

Cheers for all replies btw
