ive had THE day from hell today literally
started quite well and positive, went to surrey (guilford) to pick up a new subaru, when we got there we realised it was actually at the top gear racetrack so i had a cheeky play on the track lol
the car has had some mega ££s spent on it and its really clean, i was originally going to take off a few parts and sell it on, but the stuff that is on it really might have changed my mind.. i think im gonna brake the whole thing!! will be a shame but as u all know, cars r worth way more in parts.
ANYWAY, things went downhill from here. tried to get the car on the truck and even with blocks it almost ripped the front bumper off so i was pretty gutted, thought things couldnt get much worse until we got home and there was going to be the same hassle getting it off..
i was correct, a mission and a half to get the car off, the bumper ended up having to be taken off and the exhaust caught underneath and came apart. i was lucky neither were damaged!!
at this point i paid the reovery guy and was gonna go to bed before anything else went wrong..... i was too slow!!!!
as the guy went to drive off he turned and the rear of his truck has caved all the side of my blue subaru in!!! back door, front door and front wing are all caved in on the driver side ... so looks like breaking that too now, im gutted.
so now im sitting here feeling sorry for myself, and after i finish this message im going to bed (if nothing else happens on the way)
i hope u have had a better day than me, and i hope tomorrow is a better day alltogether!!!
rant over, i had to moan somewhere lol... goodnight folks!!

ps. i have a hell of a lot of uprated parts etc now so pm me if ur after anything.. watch this space

Hope crap Kirst. Bet you were just glad to get to bed before anything else happened. Wow. Really bad luck there. Hope it all ends up ok for you though. So are you now going to be scoob-less or you getting another ? (perhaps its a sign and the RIGHT scoob will come to you ????

Big up to Thunderpole for a great service. Ordered my CB radio Friday from them after to-ing and fro-ing on here ( many thanks for your help with my questions!) and in Maplins. They quoted a next working day delivery for £8 so went for the freebie snail mail service and it arrived today

Typical as Ive just put the Scooby away for storage today so will have to wait till the weekend to fit it.

Tempted to try it out in Emms Punto for testing purposes. Just need to think of a "handle" now.

What do you guys use to id yourself on these things?

Well I'm considering being a right chav and buying a scoobydoo grill badge off scoobybits to replace the pink badge mine came with as it isn't an Sti so I consider it false advertising! Lol

I = Impreza (its a JDM badge)

re Thunderpole Gaz, spot on. Dont worry about handles/call signs.
We just say H to Gaz, Mark to Carl etc etc

I bought a house-power conversion pack for mine gaz, so if you want to test it, im more than happy to switch it on and see if i can pick you up on it. Otherwise you might have to go to the wrekin to get a signal coz telford so flat and no bugger on CB in the area
