I honestly think that at least 70% of Audi/VW 2.0 Tdi/Gti owners have gone from a 1.0/1.4 Polo/A2 and jumped in to this seemingly invincible rocket ship and they have no real comparison in the real world. A bit like the boy racers in their 205's etc. First or second car, it feels quick to one who has just come from a bicycle or riding in Renault Espace as a passenger.
