seriously though, as others have said just get her a runaround. i used to have a mate that would buy cars for next to nothing , always small, and cheap to insure. he would make sure they would have a years tax and mot. then run it into ground and buy another whilst advertising the dead one as a donor car for spares , usually recovering the costs for the previous year. granted he was a mingebag, but 4 years later he went and paid cash for one that was 6 months old from a dealer. he got a great deal but always said he missed the buzz of free motoring
