Was discussing on another forum whether 8.8 would be strong enough or whether to use 12.9... I wouldn't personally entertain using aluminium alloy if that's what these are.

Anyhoo, maybe a walldrive socket would mark them less.

 

i have a gb270 wagon with gloss black prodrive wheels - initially cahnged the shiney chrome wheel nuts for d1 spec nuts - marked first time upon tightening albeit slight. I found them to stretch VERY easily. I'm no muppet either, owning snap on torque wrench, snap on sleeved sockets and plently of experience of wheel removal.

I binned them and bought ultralite internal drive - torqued to 65Nm and no problems, streching or marking. D1 spec where a LOT cheaper.....

 

Been trying to contact EP Racing about these, but no luck.
Don't suppose you could tell me if they come supplied with the internal drive tool or do you have to buy it separately?
