Sorry - I have been flat out working/mapping and that takes priority over anything that I am wanting to do to my car. As normal I have been up and down the country (at present in Durham).
However I have been sorting a few bits following a meeting that I had set up with the Red Bull F1 aero team a couple of weeks ago. I managed to sort an opportunity to take my car down to RedBull F1 HQ and get them to look over it to review the aero on it and give suggestions for improvements. Needless to say that opportunity couldnt be missed and was mindblowing to the extreme
Not only do those guys really know their stuff but they are all complete petrol heads and having a crowd of Red Bull employees around my car in their car park was very flattering and extremely surreal.
Lots came out of that meeting and all the quick wins will be implemented on the car for the final round of Time Attack at Snetterton in 3 weeks. The basics are in place but to take it up a notch in efficiency I thought it would be best to get expert advice from the pinnacle in motorsport. Who better than RBR ?
Not a lot will change visually for the final round but hopefully what does change will be a massive improvement and along with a small increase in power available from the Nitrous it should make me and the car a little bit more competitive on the fast Snetterton circuit.
In the meantime there is ScoobyShootout up at Elvington on the 3rd October where I will be showing off some uber lush new wheels ( very nice indeed
) and aiming to do well in the handling circuit and improve on personal bests on the 1/4 mile - again the NOS should help there.
Hardly anything needed to get the car ready for this next event so I am pretty chilled about it.
Also busy looking ahead to 2011 Season ...

New wheels are beautiful - when they arrive I will post some pics but they are a split rim custom colour wheel.
The old wheels are still here but I will be selling a set - 18x9 ET30 114pcd if anyone is interested. Will be able to get them powder coated in any colour you like
..... Been busy sorting the 'anti-lift' kit this evening PMSL
Should be sorted by the end of the weekend

and dont you forget it .. innit
Frayz - they will really spring to life when rubber on there and in real light against the context of my car. On anything other than mine the choice of colours and style that I have chosen may not look right, but I know they will look special on mine in the environment that mine is normally in 8)
