CH, I don't think jonmc is saying that WR1's are necessarily 8J!

He's just commenting that 235s fit his 8Js (whatever they may be) nicely!

So you still need to find out.......

Mine are Rota's and they fit very well, not sure what the WR1 alloys are

Why not.

But if you measure the diameter of a rim you'll find the front face is actually an inch bigger than quoted (as the actual size is the quoted, smaller, diameter behind the front cosmetic face (for the tyre to go around).

So if the width's J measurement follows the same anomoly, then it could cause some confusion.....??

Falkens ... the thinking mans tyre - simple as that.

I have used Falkens for years now, absolutely the best combination of life (2 years/20,000 miles), grip and price.

Not for the Tyre snobs though .....

i am no snob buddy but now know its a desent tyre im not guessing at it if you know what i mean,
joz - i found this out about an hour ago that the outer is 19 and a bit inches yet its an 18 ! i measured it as 8J but dont know if its right,can anyone help here ?i

You mis-understand what I was saying .... I didn't mean that you were a Tyre Snob - but there are Tyre Snobs on here who wouldn't use Falkens even if they were the proven best tyre in the world.

They would much rather spend huge amounts more, as long as the Tyre has a 'Badge' or 'Name' to 'be seen with'
