depends how grubby it is to start with.
believe it or not i always use that CILLIT BANG to get rid of excess crap.takes some time though.

Gunk spray did it for me, but mine was a fresh import and pretty clean to start. This was the day i got it, pre clean:

Carbon airbox.......houses a huge K&N filter which is just behind headlight.

I use a morrette blank with no light units when on strip for the ultimate cold air feed...

It looks like the tmic and pipes around it are corroding now it's been cleaned.The protective finish has been striped off. Might be worth using something to protect them.

Agreed. These were done yonks ago though. Now have blackfire all metal sealant
