He wasnt right, but thats a world away from being 'wrong'; as you suggest.
No, this is wrong. His BNP membership was not incidental and he is indeed a right-wing terrorist. His plans included attacking local mosques with explosives which is why he was under surveillance from the CT police for quite some time before he was lifted.

Im vary aware of that. My point was (badly put i might add) that If the accused was caught and convicted of trying to target one paticular religion (Islam) then why would he be a racist? surley his hate for Islam is religion related and not race?

And dont call me a retard please. My last post might not be crystal clear but i certainly didnt make it look like i didnt know the difference between a faith and a nationality.

I apologise for jumping to conclusions but every asian person is classed as a "Paki" regardless of their actual ethnicity and this starts grating after a while

Banny no offence intended but can you explain something to me please, a person from Scotland is called a Scot (short for Scotland obviously) a Person from Sweden is called a Swede (short for Sweden obviously) A person from Pakistan being called a Paki (short for Pakistan obviously) and its claimed to be deragotary, It's something I've never worked out before, why is this seemingly insulting as it's only the shortening of a name?

Its strange how economic problems in a country seem to push many people towards far right extremism.

It happened some 70 years ago!

Whats so insulting about it though? I fail to see why anyone can take offense to it TBH

So I guess anyone from Scotland being called a Scot or anyone from Sweden being called a Swede should/could take offense as well but they dont?

In itself there is nothing wrong in shortening the name that way, but as mentioned it was always used in a derogatory manner in the first place and therefore when used it is hardly surprising that it is regarded as an insulting form of address.

Default 2 Things

Firstly ye never answered the question and I was putting it in a 'PC' way so no need to be picky you know exactly what I meant, and secondly I never mention Black people or the 'N' word so why bring it up?

So you dont take offence at the P word when it suits you, only when it dosent?

Makes a mockery of the whole principle of it all dosent it, you can call another paki a Paki but if a non Paki calls somebody a Paki out goes the shout of racism

For a start I wouldent, I have no need to, but comming on here and openly admitting to call each other Pakis is a racist comment in its self against us whities, a bit like saying it's ok for us to do it but dont you lot dare, If you lot took so much offence to the P word you wouldent be using it your selfs
