love white, my scoob is my first white car, the three previous were all blue; it's hard to keep clean though!!
i know a lot of cars seem to come in white now, but for me it works best on the sportier/motorsport orientated cars

Yep loving white cars also! Someone at work has just picked up a new A4 S-line in white and it looks fantastic! I do think it's just down to current trends however, and if I was buying a brand new car I'd still almost always go for black or dark grey.

White seems to be the new black but it doesn't work with all cars. I think the above Jag is a good example of that
As we've just ordered a new car in white I've been noticing other white cars a lot more and have seen a lot of expensive 10 plate motors sporting this seemingly fashionable new colour

It will go out of fashion as quick as it came in.
A mate of mine who's a dealer says he's stopped buying in white cars unless they're extreme sports cars.
I've heard this from a few others, too.

I think the MK5 Golf Gti has revived the white cars and made them cool again. Always think of white cars back in the 80's, Porsche 944s, Lambo Countach, Ford Escort RS and Sierra Cosworths.

My sister has a beaten up old mk3 Golf in a sort of turquoise colour - minging. I blame Laura Ashley.
Brown (metallic) seems to be making a comeback and can look okay. Can't find pic but the latest T5 VW Caravelle has a met brown option and it's the best colour for it IMO.

yep i had a mk4 rs turbo cabriolet (j943 yoo) lowered 45mm with a full bodykit and nice big alloys all painted in diamond white with a white fabric roof and a blue/white engine bay and it looked the **** wish i still had it . i love white but it has to be on the right car to look good, some cars are just pants in white.

Before my white STi I've had a white Volvo T5 ex-plod car with standard black alloys and it looked mint... obviously my two white cars havent been as white as newer models but nonetheless still a mint colour, espesh with black touches here and there (wheels, bonnets, roofs, vents and what not)

BMW seem to be into it's Metallic Browns lately. Most of the Brochure shots for the X1 have it coloured Brown.

In the Brochure, the X1 looks quite good. Went to my local dealer for a test drive. Didn't bother with the test drive, as in the flesh, the car looks ****.

It does indeed. As does the X3. Only the X5 is acceptable and for some odd reason, I quite like the X6 too.
Bang goes any shred of credibility I may have ever had...
