interesting project with imo one big flaw, he has missed a trick in that by using the cossie floor pan he now has all the inherent bad design of the cossie rear beam and the bad handling that it brings, if it was me I would have junked the saff shell completely and had bespoke mods to the mk7 floorpan and had a wrc style rear cradel made up, that way it would have had a chance of much better handling.
not to sure on cost as yet he's going to wait till his kit is finnished and fitted perfectaly then he will put it into production ill let you know as soon as i know any thing ..... also the reason he never space framed it around mk7 is the cost involved he's doing this as a part time project so trying to keep cost minimal... should be intresting drive once complete ...
Yeah I will lol. Sound like a good car though. There is a lot of people on the passionford site trying to get hold of this kit. Well the kit that was on the rallycross fiesta mk7 and they said £6500 for the full kit lol

Bloody hell, it got finished!
Looks awesome but...
...I'm a little bit disappointed as I was expecting it to be close to a road legal rallycross car: with the radiators in the back.
Still looks great though. £55K does seem rather optimistic!
