Carbon Fibre Vinyl
Has anyone had any problems with it wrinkling on a hot day? I covered some interior bits in my bug eye last night and today its was a hot day and they are all wrinkled?

Only one of my door parts had come un-stuck in the corner where it folds in tight, guess because its in such a tight gap and a tight bend if come away in the heat from the sun. I just re-heated it with the hair dryer and pushed it back in place firmly, been ok since-that was 3 weeks ago now.
Anyone with 3M contacts or sellers of this stuff?
Have the same thing on my 2 front panels.
I think its where I over streched it as the 2 rears and radio panel, and boot are fine. Mine was the 3m. I think there is a fine line between streched and over stereched under heat.

The clear coat doesn't seem to work well, I used some on my grill, wanted it to blend in more with the real glossy carbon, so gave a few coats of clear, it made it glossy..........but it lost some of it weave/texture look.
But on another part I did, I only gave it one coat, the look is still there, but its not as glossy. Looks like you have to reach a happy medium with it.

I didn't take any pics of the part I gave one coat to, as it doesn't show that much the gloss. The grill part is very hard to see as it was right on the sides and they are tucked away ,only covered that part because there was a tiny gape and it anoyed me lol.
I'll take some and see how they come out for you.

My feelings too mate, as soon as i saw someone had tried it i decided against it and sold the real carbon bits. glossy bonnet and matte roof dont go
Heres one that only had one coat of clear applied, when its up against none laquered carbon you can just see its different but on its own I'd so no. I still say I wouldn't spray your whole roof, you just won't get the right result to match the bonnet, as I said, yes it will be glossy BUT it goes so dark.
