Sounds good - We're looking to fit 114PCD wheels onto our widearch Type R so can you do these spacers with the conversion from 100 PCD hubs to 114 PCD wheels but make them 20mm thick?

If so - WE'RE IN TOO!

Infact, scrap that idea

If everyone on the list can email me on info@cdfracing.co.uk

1) name and address

2) thickness they need to space there wheels out

3) pcd of the holes ( if you dont know, year of your car but pcd is better)

3) if they want them anodised or not..... I would recommend hard for these £16 extra)

think that is it for now

As wide as you want but i think after 30mm on a lowered car that you woll have to roll arches

i'd go 25mm personally RS, i think it would fill the arches nicely

im sure Chris has experience

Chris - just to confirm, can you do any exact number of mm, eg 12mm? I want to clear calipers with a particular wheel but want to do a minimum of arch rolling. Running 17x8's on a classic, ET46 I think, with rear arches rolled already.

Any others interested, to take this group up to 10 (for 30% discount off this price: Custom hubcentric wheel spacers any size on eBay (end time 10-Feb-10 21:04:38 GMT))

cheers
Andy

Hi guys,

I've finally got my Rota GTR's on and i tink i'm going to put the spacers on the back burner for now.
The wheels are 18x8.5 and sit really nice, i think if i got spacers the wheels might sit out abit too much.
So i'm out the running for the group buy i'm afraid guys, gotta save the pennies to for some more pressing things on the car.

pics coming soon matey, just waiting for some daylight.

I do love the way they sit at the mo, proper aggresive, if anything i might just add some 5mm spacers i've got in the garage. Getting rid of my mud flaps made a massive difference too.

Hiya,

I hope to be in on this, but timescale is bit tricky - am off on hols this Sat for a week and I won't get the chance to check the exact thickness I need before going.

Anyone know how much arch space there is on a classic at the rear? Am running et48 215/45-17's and have rear arches rolled already. My arch rolling guy doesn't think the rears will flare successfully. Fronts can be rolled so they should be fine for the 12mm approx that I need (to clear brake calipers). But on the rear, I'm not sure I can space those wheels out by 12mm and not rub the arch.

Andy

Can you confirm/correct this? The wheels I want need converting (114 to 100) and are going to be tight as it is :/

So do the 8.8 bolts in the spacer then become you wheel studs?

How will this be possible without cutting the existing studs off unless the spacer is thicker than the stud?

Also I don't think 8.8 bolts are strong enough to then become your wheel stud.

You sure? If these lightweight and weak Alloy nuts that we buy and put on out cars are able to handle the load imparted upon them, surely an 8.8 grade bolt will handle the same load imparted in the same way? Remember the Hub (and therefore in this case the Spacer) takes the majority of the load AROUND ITS CENTRE POINT?

Hopefully i've got this right?

Not sure Screechy, think thats a topic for wheel/brake section mate

Also Chris can you confirm that the existing studs on the hubs dont need to be modified to fit the spacer. I.e need to be cut back so the hub studs dont protrude past the spacer(if you know what i mean)
