Well....i've been on the dark side for a couple of days ....searching .....searching......searching..... to tell u the trueth ...i would need to take each of them for the evening to understand what is better for me... Their both good cars thought...just this scooby understare is killing me....except spec c.... even " the dark people" say that spec c with mods like yours ricky is unbeatable... BUT!!!!! The understanding of all automotive thing....U wana be the fastest or u want just to enjoy the car, the feedback u get from it etc., which i do in my classic. Which i did have in the integra dc2 which is only 200bhp but the feeling u get from it is amazing....... So it's up to u , if u want to prove smtn or just to enjoy the experience.....RAW experience if it's a classic sti....

Im just getting bored & having fun looking through Pistonheads!
I have decided & will ultimately go for the Type R. But at some stage I would like to drive a CSL to see what all the hype is about. I wonder how different it would be to my Spec C in terms of Performance & Comfort?? I think it would be more luxurious & a better daily drive, but it'l get caned by my Spec C on the road

If you want a cheap and incredibly good handling car I can sell you a very nice (proper) Mini! Noisier than your Scoob too...

If it scared Alan, imagine how much it'd scare Ricky!!

I'm keeping it for now. Just a couple of bits to finish in the next month or so then it's going for a Mini World feature.

It's set me back a fair whack so don't want to sell but really fancy a stanced-out AE86 or classic Jap project next... Just need to drive it again and the love for it will come back

Any news on your hunt Ricky?

This would seem a bargain if you could get it for around £4750?

I did email him this morning offering £4.5k cash
But I think its a bit of a cheeky offer & dont think he'l part with it at that price as he is a part time car dealer & wants to make a little profit on it me thinks.

Bonnet's not meant to!
Vf34 turbo says in questions at end.
Dont like the cage though or those extra gauges, look a bit sh&te

Not sure what a super shif gearbox is & who did the build?

Deal done this morning
Was gona also take the oil off him but I want to stick with 10w 40w & IIRC he's got 10W 50W.

When the weather gets a bit warmer Im gona refit my backbox with a bit more of that exhaust paste on the flange joint as it seems to be slightly blowing there. Also fit the diff lock at the same time. I wonder if fitting the diff lock will bugger up the alignment??

I agree with the 10w40 thing, I had 5w40 in before the oil change and it was very rattley at the top end, changed to 10w40 when Rich did the service and was so much quieter. Semi-synth at the moment, but will run it for a bit and then put some full-synth back in once it has flushed the engine
