His father's death doesn't justify what he did, but it kinda puts the matter into perspective.

People have different ways to respond to loss. Some may not do what Tiger did, but a few may. It has also been speculated that his forever-together father's company could have smothered him to the point that he ran loose after his death, and shagged everything under the sun and underground. Whatever it is, the number of his extra-marital affairs put a question mark on his sanity IMO. I recently saw some of his past interview clips, where he maintained his clean-cut, family man image for the media. That offered some understanding of why he may be hiding under the rock, for he is now such an embarrassment to himself.

Just beacuse he was not able to hide his affairs forever, it doesn't make him such a demon. He certainly would be the nastiest piece of a cheating sh!te to his wife now. For interested public, at least he hasn't been suspected to be a serial killer or a peadophile.

As the best golfer, his retirement is a loss to the world. Then again, it will give new talents a chance, so hey.

His profound confessions give the impression that if his wife doesn't forgive him, he is going to dissapear into Himalayas, shave his head, become a Buddhist monk, and will abstain from sex forever. He may as well, before his overworked "thingy" drops off.
