Not too difficult to work that out is it?

The short term career I agree, over long term I say it will have bugger all effect.
Give it a year and the paper talk will be chip wrappers, the jokes will have been forgotten and he will be playing golf as he was born to do.

But one thing is certain – as amazing as the golfer he is,- he still thinks with his **** 90% of the time much like the rest of us

Which makes me feel ever so slightly better!!!

Isn't one of his conquests supposed to be a well known British sports presenter?

Probably not this one...

He has now been dropped by probably his most lucrative sponsor and certainly the one that has him on the most prominent billboards in the most important places.

Accenture said they no longer want to be associated with him. At least they were honest, unlike Gillette, Tag and Gatorade who all fluffed it in mealy mouthed, 'we were reviewing our marketing strategy anyway'.

I was invited to a sports thing a couple of years ago and could not go on the day. The day after I discovered she was the table host!! Boy was I kicking myself!

Yes I tend to agree, if he gets back into his former golfing form than that will be of far more interest to us all. He is losing sponsorship of course but if he sorts his life out satisfactorily as well then they will probably come came to him.

I would guess his wife will leave him just after xmas.
One mistake may be forgivable but what he has done simply isn't...no matter how much money he has.
After this I'm sure he will quickly return, sponsorship deals won't be far behind.
Damn if Kerry Katona can do it I'm sure Tiger can

Peter Alliss now thinks he will never play again!!

If he does he will get sponsorship - but probably of a very different kind.

His advisers have been unbelievably poor in managing this whole process!

if he plays again he will be sponsored (and well) -- too much money at stake
(think Kate Moss, some people said her career was finished when was pictured snorting coke -- her downfall lasted about as long as a fashion season, and she renegotiated a better contract)

it will be old news in a year

and don't forget -- redemption is ingrained into the American psyche

Come on - The guy sets himself up as a paragon of sporting excellence.
When he drops the ball, he should have had the ***** to stand up and be big.
He blew it in my view.
I quote myself from a few days ago
I was certain that his sponsors would take flight!
He hasn't helped himself, however, as he believes, probably, that he's bigger than the game , not sport .
He's a wimp

and I think you are being too judgemental

my father went missing from his 21st birthday celebration and was found crying by the grave of his recently deceased father – he has never got over his fathers death to this day

Imagine in Tiger's case where he is “better” than anyone he meets, just imagine the sycophancy he has to deal with, who gives him the anchor people in his position need

That all sounds a bit deep, but i suspect it was more to do with the fact that his current hump was like a sack-o-tatties

okay point taken-- I don't read the tabloids (article on Power Watches in the Guardian G2 section today though)

and maybe he knocked off his dad, when he discovered his sons behaviour
now that would be a story

anyway -- just tittle tattle really

Good grief!! Is he?!

PS This is how good tabloid rumours start - next it will be, 'Tiger Woods camp refuse to deny involvement in the death of David Kelly' (when what they actually say is, David Kelly, who the f*** is that?)
