No it doesn't , but if you gave me a call I would of got the new block straight out to you.... there was no reason for me to recall them if 20 other peope have fitted them ok,

how are the new ALK's coming on guys?.
im looking to get all my suspension kit fitted after the 2nd week in may.
will these be ready?

 

I have had the ALK's and the CDF droplinks fitted to my 2001 bugeye with no problems or adjustments needed. The garage fitting them was impressed with the quality of the the parts and bushes. The car is also much better to drive in the bends,m well pleased

 

yeah im looking forward to getting all the suspension ive bought fitted for the summer.
bc coilovers,ALK,solid droplinks and rear ARB.
should be much nicer to drive after that lot.
im just waiting on the new ALK as the last thing i want to be doing is messing around under the car.
its so strange some people have had problems with fitting and others no worries!

 

Nice one, with all those goodies it'll feel like a new car. It is weird how people have had different results, surely all the ALK's are the same specs, I can only imagine maybe some cars have got slight mis-alignments from bumps or something??

 

Yes should be ok for end of may, we are just moving factorys CDF moving

but have to crack on with them as we run out of stock yesterday

I have a kit from the first batch of these for a classic.

I had a whole load of suspension bits fitted at the same time last week and I've not been made aware that there were any issues with getting it to fit. Dont have the car back yet, but I know the ALK is on.

 

What's the main changes with the new version?

Yes sorry the website has been down, fixed now - our new address is there.

Rich, we have revised the bush so it sits at a angle, the bolting holes are offset as well now

Well, I have fitted both version 1 and 2 to my car now I have access to it. Version 1 did fit fine ... as many have said, but if you are having problems please send it back for version 2 which is a better fit,.

 

So are the new kits in stock?.

Sorry Chris didn't realise. I saw you online at midday today and assumed you would have got an e-mail notification to say I had posted.

I would rather the revised version as knowing my luck I will have issues! I will send via courier tomorrow. Don't worry about refunding as these things happen and its my choice at the end of the day.
