Then if you have a hatch, that's over £1800 a year!
Accompany that with 36% vehicle reg tax, which amounts to £10,800 on top of the purchase price of a 05 type uk sti. So its £17,280 on top of the price of a new hatch sti.

Ye, true. Its pretty expensive, but its also like a drug habbit....ones you've done it once, you need the fix and you'll pay anything to get it!

Also the depreciation is much worse over here on a new one. So although the VRT alone on a 05 uk one is €12000, i paid just under 20k for mine, valuing the car at about €8k, however you'd have no chance of buying one for that in the UK.

Well thats different then, and is through no "Perk of having a blue badge."

It pisses me off though here the way the law carries on as if the rules don't apply to them.
Speeding, driving without seatbelts and constantly on the phone...and usually combined with a bald tire/smahsed light or blown bulb to boot.

Also I know of 2 doctors who's cars i regularly see parked in disabled spaces with disabled stickers on their windows, yet there is nothing wrong with either of them or their family.

I have it on good authority (no pun intended my mate is a hobby bobby) that when coppers are trained they are told ..... that as a police officer they are above society!!!!! and when cautioning some one if they cry they have done there job properly....
