is there not other games on the ps3 like that. im sure i used to play a war game like that with my cousin. u had to make your way across the map while the other team defended. will find out what it is later

I loved that on the PC (and played at a very high clan level inc lan tournies) and am sure it came out as a standalone game for the PS3 but never played it myself. They still play it at the major gaming comps. In fact a UK pro gaming team won something like $500,000 a couple of years back

Yeah was pretty poor - that game on Karachi when I had chopper gunner it kept stopping shooting so no idea how I got some many kills with it. Then onto scrapyard and everyone was floating around like zero gravity.

You crack me up on comms. Every time you get killed "***k off", "noooo way" - Im the same thats why I dont have my mic on anymore

Had a few games with BlueTerzo and lost to some frenchies but then got them back. Is it just me or are the french the most annoying on comms - even more than the yanks. They just talk non stop. Mute them all.

This morning I was playing with some noobs and got to 10-0 easy. Despatched harrier on top of the red dots and killed myself. Annoying when that happens with a stray bomb falling well away from the main target. Was gutted as that was prime scenario for a nuke I reckon.

Simon i have to turn my headset on at the same time as my ps3 or for some reason it stops the sound coming through my amp if i do it later. I always switch it on and just stick it down incase any of my mates that use headsets are on. I do get a bit carried away with it

We could have some team if we managed to all get in the same side

i really should fire it up again for a bit but everytime i start the ps3 i just can't be arsed to spend half the night trying to join a game only to be on the losing team or having such bad lag that i have to hide in a corner and hope that the host gets changed.

Just played 3 games on the trot where the first two I got 24-0 then got killed by an RPG. Gutted. 3rd was Wasteland and managed to get 36-0 and my 7th nuke thank god. I think 4 of my 7 have been got on Wasteland.

Would it be worthwhile for a load of us to be online and one of us create a 'party', I regularly create a party for 3-5 people, and it is nice to get on a map as a party.

Well I'd definately be up for that. Although sometimes I've had invites from people and unfortunately I couldn't join them because it cannot connect to the host or the game I was invited to is no longer valid.
Me and two of my friends often play together in a party and it's great as you can always see the blue coloured arrows (on the mini map) and no where they are & where the enemy is that there fighting with.
Great fun working as a team and definately a tactical advantage Be on later, invite me whenever you like & if I can join I will, Gareth

You have to watch out on the map fuel, those cheaters have a rock they can glitch inside of.

The PSN network was fine for me last night. Actually had some really good games last night with a few guys. Much more fun this game when it's not lagging it's **** off

I was kicked off at around 6pm and tried later at 6.45pm and still wouldnt let me log back in. Checked on the PS Forums and everyone was complaining of same issue with DNS error.

Was working when I played later just after 10pm

Omg this game kills me sometimes. On Derail get the harrier and bomb 3 and game lags out taking ages to choose another host but finally does. Carry on and harrier takes another kill so out comes the chopper. Am owning with the chopper and at 24 kills and the game lags out again but this time the dreaded counter stops and the game quits back to the lobby. FFS!

You say FREE, but not really, as when you buy the game, they have to take into account the cost of servers, so you are paying, in a round about way.

I was considering getting the newer slim version, as most issues happen with the older PS3.

Was trying to hook a game up with Gareth a couple of days ago, and we were having terrible trouble trying to get Party'd up.


I think part of the problem is with the Activision servers (I have had enough messages about this when having trouble) and then also PSN bringing up loads of codes starting with 8002 .... The last one being 8002AD23 .

I wish Sony/Activision would sort out the issues as I have been in the same kind of position as P1 and having loads of things out there, and when you change host, everything is lost ie I had a Sentry gun, harrier overhead out once, game came back and they were gone !

The Host Migration is crap on Xbox too,you can be shooting someone and the counter runs down and he's moved and kills you.

i can never join anyone anymore for the partys, just won't let me. tonight may well be the last night for me playing on it for a while as i've got the multiplayer beta version of the new medal of honor which i can play from tomorow.

Haha yeah I know that one. Pull out the laptop for a pred and game changes host. Come back and its like weve timewarped 10secs as next thing my pred is hitting a random area nowhere near an enemy. Urm cheers for that

On the plus side I did start using the LMG Aug HBAR with open sights and grip last night. Damn that thing is lethal. Walked around a corner in Highrise into 4 enemy and just pulled the trigger and they all went down with ease

that's pretty much what i use most of the time now, the rpd with grip just decimates especially with stopping power.
