I reckon you could pick up an unwanted classic centre and newage Sti BB for under £50. Bit of dremel action and jobs a goodun.

Blitz is a megaphone design so will fit at the dp end @2.5, won't make much difference to power tbh.

Nah, bungs are nasty on tuned cars IMHO.

Instead of welding flanges etc another option would be to get an unwanted 2.5" bore classic centre pipe and newage Sti BB (cause they're cheap) and just remove relocate or even ignore the rear bb hanger.

Going down to 2.5" from the megaphone designed 3" Blitz won't make much if any difference to bhp IMHO. If anything it may feel more torquey.

Might be worth an offer. I got a very similar one for £150, and you could always sell it on afterwards

Seems ok on mine.
Was going to change to an HKS Super or Hyper Muffler, but have decided to stick with my current one, especially with noise limits being an issue in the future. (mine is 87-88db)

Enquired on the H&S GB Darc, c.£60 +£165 +15% for a 2.5 centre and ScoobySport BB. Minty new and ready to go. I reckon that's pretty good value for track days ? I might sell my noisy Apexi 1 piece, its in better condition than Jap Performance ones and they go for £280

Cool a trip out in a RS at Brands sounds good

The Snetteron day was good but I reckon Brands will offer more thrills especially just after the main straight
I am definately out with one of the instructors on this one

Yeah thanks for that Ian , have contacted Gary but unfortunately as the car is no longer insured with him he was unable to add any track-day cover , i contacted my current insurer regarding track-day insurance , and the fella @ the end of the phone that i can only imagine was in India asked me ..

"What is a track-day ? & what do you do ? " At this point i hung up !! God insurance used to be so easy with Gary !!

Still Gary also recommended the guys in the link that you have supplied , I'm currently waiting for them to get back to me with the quote
