Ask Nate, he added my name to the list for me as I couldn't add my name to the list myself.

See you Sunday

Gavin (will be in the Green Bugeye with silver bonnet and boot graphics and silver tinsel round the spoiler).

ESC Santa Cruise 2009, 20th December

The idea is that we donate gifts (wrapped for either boy or girl or suitable for either) and deliver them to a home for children a day or two before christmas.

This is always a great event, seeing the kiddies (those driving and those receiving gifts ) and I believe really makes a difference to them.

For those that cannot make the event, gifts would be much appreciated, even if you aim at a value between £5-£10 this will make a child in a home over Christmas extremely happy. Gifts will be collected at either the Posers Cruise, Halfway House meet or The Lodge, this gives plenty of opportunity for getting the gifts together.

If there is anyone that is open to accept gifts from their home or workplace as suggested by Spally (great idea ) , please add you name to the collection list below.

All those available for the delivery of gifts to kids homes please add your names to the delivery list

Scooby_seb is donating some drinks for the homes staff

We have more than filled the quota for gifts now, but if anyone still feels like contributing, cash donations will be great, these will either be donated to the homes to get some special treats (of their choice), or if anything in particular is required by them, we will endeavour to provide

Many thanks again for everyones continuing generosity
!

Many thanks for the generosity of Duncan, and Matt for arranging the auctioning of it (any news yet mister ?)

I think this Cruise will be the best that the Essex Scooby Crew has done thus far

Be aware that the delivery of the gifts will take in some lovely B roads

Meeting point

For 8:00 am to 8:15 , leaving at 9:00 am from the car park at The Festival Leisure Park in Basildon :-

Please make sure that all who attend have my phone number .....

077 86 077 32.9

If you get stuck, are running late, please please call me.

I will have a list of attendees and the gifts list with me, I will also let everyone know of the postcodes of home destinations, so that if you do get lost, you'll still be able to find your way.

I am really really looking forward to this now

What a great turnout

Many thanks to all those that put their names down that turned up, and those that couldn't make it for letting me know

I think that the whole event seemed to go without a hitch (from where I was anyway ).

Hope you all enjoyed the routes and the looks on the kiddies faces, they sure loved Santa

Most of you were probably wondering at first, why I stopped under those snow covered trees ......... Here you go

Well done Nate, glad we came along. Was great to see the kids faces. And plenty of fun on some of the roads too.

Nice to meet the new faces and to catch up with some of the older ones.

All I can think is if Nate sounded the horn would all the snow have fallen off the trees and made a more snowy photo ?

was really good today to meet you all today (red scoob). Myself and the missus enjoyed it, had a laugh and a chat with a lot of you. Was good to see the kids so happy. Hope to see you all again soon.
