Turn it around.

You lease your house out and make a few quid, and you move in with her....

He means lease your house to her, so she pays you rent, then you move back in to the (your) house, but with her the tenant, then when you split up, you take her for everything and keep your house!

Rocket science, it's not.

In fact, I am going to remember that advice.

Asking this question, although sensible, suggests that you have a bit of a doubt in your head about the whole issue anyway. I would certain seek legal advice and have all the necessary paperwork drawn up, signed and ready in the event that you do.

These things always turn nasty, and if under prepared you will loose a lot.

Perhaps some pics of your lady, in various states of dress, would help us decided whether its all worth it :-)

I have to congratulate you on finally getting something without having to fly thousands of miles to Thailand and pay for it like you have done for years!

No, your best bet is to stick "Lady Boy" into google and see what comes up.

I've seen a few posts about maybe not the best way to start a relationship, people telling you you have doubts, I'm sorry but what crap. I was in a similar situation not so long ago and decided to stick her on a rental contract. You can enter ANY relationship with the best of intentions only for it to go pear shaped with you getting taken for a ride. Better to be safe than sorry when it comes to YOUR home. There are plans afoot to give unmarried partners more rights and claims, but nothing has appeared yet. Believe me Ive been keeping a close eye on it. However it's academic to me now as I've married her

A girl I was taking a statement from the other day was asking why I was single, if I wanted a girlfriend, get married, children etc.

I told her I wouldn't mind but I don't want to give half of everything away to someone I don't like.

I think she was flirting with me, as she asked if I'd be out in Mansfield town on Saturday night and made it clear that her fella would be away over night in Nottingham city centre.

Just stay over at each others for the next couple of years. Guess both kids may go off to Uni or something eventually?

Otherwise it sounds too risky as she keeps her little nest egg on the side, whilst she could be entitled to some of yours too if the **** hits the fan.

Me and my mrs were in a position to go 50/50 five years ago. All this works fine so we don't ever have to think about all these "what ifs" and just enjoy each others company.

That shouldnt be allowed, she should get a council house!

If that was me id burn my own house down, rather than let some woman with kids im NOT the father to take my bricks and mortar!

and as for paying child support for kids that aint mine, id either get my salary paid into another account, or if that was found out and i was forced to pay i would just leave the country!

Its WRONG that someone should loose a house and end up paying for kids that arent theirs!

She has her own house mate so the council house wont be needed.

Anyone else got any ideas?

Maybe I am the only one who thinks that couples usually pool their income/resources once they got together? Keeping things separate just screams trust issues. If you are already thinking about what might happen when you split then you are already making a mistake thinking about moving her in.

To be honest she sounds like a brave woman wanting to move in under these conditions.
