PPP For Belgian Imports
#33
Only new news is from Gertjan in Holland. He can also fit PPP now, however, wants more than Hans Troch.
Gertjan's price is 1900 Euro plus 19% VAT = 2261 Euro.
I have not asked on group discount though as no one else seemed interested.

PPP - Prodrive performance Pack
ECU upgrade
New centre and back box
some brass restrictor tubey thingy
new blue intercooler pipe work
I've been quoted by my dealer in Belgium,
Performance with 98 Ron Fuel
Torque 354 Nm @ 4.000 Rpm
Power 245 Hp @ 6.000 Rpm
But my understanding from other peeps on here is that it's not so much the max bhp but the improved torque midrange is where you really get the benefit.
There's a discussion here on the should I/should I not/value of the PPP.
I think at the price that the belgium dealers are offering it at makes it much more attractive and inline with any alternative where you would loose your warranty, roughly a saving of £350 on the quoted UK dealer price.
my only concern is, what happens if we have problems, do we have to take the car back to belgium, or can it be treated in the same way as a warranty claim through a UK dealer, who would them claim money's back through subaru Benelux. I guess if it's fitted correctly then there will be no problems, some of the UK guys on here did get rather differing rolling road figures though with standard PPP.
Anyway post your dealer quotes here
Alain Knockaert in IEPER - 1999 euros
Haven't asked about a group buy yet, but it looks like we've got 5 possibles already, so worth asking me finks.
