Alcazar, with an EvoX looking that aggressive, I'm sure it'll be breaking more than just light regulation laws!!

another good source of parts is oem_xenon_parts in the states. got most of my bits from him - projectors & shrouds etc. great guy to deal with. got my bulbs & ballasts from uk suppliers. bulbs came from 2 different suppliers both supposed to be 6000k however 1 set is dimmer than the other (probably 4000k) currently working on twin projector retrofit will post some pictures tonight

I'll second that I have bought items from him as well, including some Mercedes Shrouds like 'Schumachers' retrofit!
Which incidentally are up for sale as I went for a different look. Great condition, perfect for somebodys retrofit.....open to offers!

So watchmen this is a twin projector which means 2 sets of ballasts for each light.. a separate high and low beam light? What are the advantages over a single switchable beam? What are most people going for these days? Two is has to be better right?

HID Projector Headlight Retrofit for Subaru, Honda, BMW, Scion and More | LightWerkz.net
Does anyone know anything about these guys? Would be really interested in getting this done to my headlights as i really want a set of decent HID's

What would the postage be like to get the headlights to the states, and any ideas on prices for getting the the work done??

Its either that idea or get some of you people to do a retrofit over here, come on people

Can a single projector unit be used for high/low beam or would you definately have to fit two projectors for a high and low beam?

Lightwerkz is very big in retrofitting in the US and has got it down to a good art. Just search 'lighwerkz' on either NASICO and HIDPLANET for all the info you need......happy reading (looks like I must have inspired him to ccfl up the classic retrofit )

He usually works on the basis of you sending him your headlights (pref new ones) and he'll retrofit them and post them back with all the appropriate wiring looms and connectors - all you have to do is fit them .

The only slight issue he may have is obtaining the European cut off projector (or he'll just modify the shield, something Lighwerkz can tell ya )

Yes they can mate - its exactly what I opted for. Therefore no issues MOT time The Jaguar Bi-Xenon Projectors I used have a solenoid which moves a shield up and down for high/low beam

cyrusgod - spot on 2 ballasts per headlight this will give me a total of 4 projectors on full beam. the 2 main beam projectors have had the cut off shield modified to a flat line. the projectors are audi valeos bought from the states. hoping to get these finished very soon

I just picked up a pair of Porsche 911/997 headlights, with projectors, but halogen bulbs. Is it worth using those for something? They take a H7 bulb. I know they also have headlights that are made for HID's.
