The car park will be big enough,as mickey said in one of the treads,it has a car park front and back,the one at the back is very big .
This pub is called the Unicorn.
There is one next door called the Anchor which I think will be used as an overspill.

Someone told me that the car park at the front was flooded from the river trent bursting its banks again.

p.s mickey you allready have D Hill 555 on your list you eager man.

Anyways, here's da latest list Still DAMN impressive reading

Once again, thanks to the mini meet organisers who are keeping the threads tidy and relevant and also for maintaining the interest.

I seriously reckon that we are gonna end up with a 200 car meet My reasoning behind it is that past experience of organising meets has shown that you only get about 70% of attendees register in the first few days, you then have a few hectic days getting venue details to everyone, then there is the proverbial calm before the storm. That is what we are in at the moment.
Then what happens is that the week commencing 01.04.02, everyone starts to look for things to do at the weekend, "THE BIG ONE" becomes the focal point and BAM! anothe 20-30% put thier names down
On top of that, some of the areas are fly posting the meet on scoobs that they see parked up, there are the unregistered scoobynetters, the lurkers who will just drop in etc,etc.

It's gonna be MASSIVE and there ain't no stoppin it now (How many of you are humming that tune to yourselves now )

Wow!!

Mikey - you've done a fantastic job on this one mate!! Even allowing for no-shows, your looking at over 100 cars!!! I may even have to say your car looks great for all the works you've put in!!!

I'll pop off to the local illegal arms shop and buy a few SAM missiles so we can take turns shooting all those Police Helicopters and SWAT teams that all those exhausts (inc yours!!!!!!!!) will attract

Looks like its going to be fun - lets hope its a nice day weather wise

Just a quick note, Turning the meet into a charity event is all good, however, i'd like if possible to keep the admin as simple as possible.
By that, i'd like to come away with x amount of £'s, choose a charity (Looks like it's going to be a Cancer charity) and send/present the cheque. Simple

I'm not all that keen on leaving Gunthorpe with 100+ cuddly toys in me scoob, being left with the task of distributing them all. So can we keep it just to the original voluntary donation (£5ish ) to be given to ya mini meet organiser to give to me upon reaching Gunthorpe. Ta

I hope that you can see my point.
