Cool

Yeah a drive would be cool, but it depends on how many cars there are can attract alot of attention. Went to a meet in Cambridge last year arranged by Richard G, a few of the guys above went aswell He worked out an excellent route with maps and directions maybe he could help us out here?
What do you reckon Grahame?

If not a drink and a chat would be cool anyway

Cheers

Hi, I live in Braughing (across the A120). Silver 5-door (T75 and PE ECU). A meet would be good - I need to hear some exhausts and make a decision. And I gave up on the trains this morning and went home. Think I'll try Hertford North tomorrow.

Iain,

Is he still a bit of a ponce and wears driving gloves?

As he's got something fairly quick, he should come along to a track day with us.....

CriagH,

Nah he's pretty chilled now, ditched the driving gloves a while ago (with the beemer). Had some pretty mental cars since.

Maybe all meet up some point, he can drive now, likes playing with R1's etc!!!

Would the P1 owner on St.Michaels please stand up, as you make the third P1 in Stortford.

Ah yes John... the RS4. What can you say except blinding performance, with all the electronic toys you could wish for

I reckon a meet on a Sunday would be a good starter - peeps could then discuss their favourite roads in the area (as well as indulge in a bit of tyre kicking) and give a few ideas of where to go. Whoever wants to organise a drive could then set it up for the next meet. Just a thought...

RobW - I was as at Donno on Sunday where I heard about your accident - sounds like it could have been really serious. Hope you're recovering well.

So Sunday it is - now all we need is someone to decide on a date (and confirm the venue).

If this meet (whenever it is) proves a hit, perhaps we could take over the bowling alley for the next one???

I am about to put a post in the "Events - Southern" section for a meet on the 24th March, so can you let me know if you are interested in coming.

I have avoided Sunday, as most of the Landlords would probably prefer their car parks to be full of "Sunday Lunchers" rather than a bunch of Scooby drivers sipping at half pints of lager etc..

I will confirm the venue - however this will be numbers dependent. I have checked out the Coach and Horses & the landlord is happy for us to go there, however the car park seems quite full/small. I know of a couple of other places which have bigger car parks etc. within 10 mins drive of Bishops Stortford so we can go there.

See as many of you there as can come.
