Yeh, must say I'm very dissapointed in this magazine, took it up on subscription last year, and the articles are very poor, either too long or too short. As someone said the NBO coverage is a joke, as it says the biggest gathering of scoobs yet only a couple of pics and some words, and the show was sponsored buy the mag, but what really has turned me off this mag was in a previous issue "Scoob buying guide" surely people who are looking to buy a scoob aren't going to take out a 12month subs. And to think I stopped my EVO subs for this, more fool me.

Yes got mine today and was very dissapointed with the NBO coverage ,Seven months of planning and preparation goes into this event by my hard working and dedicated committee and to have only one page is very poor show ,this will be discusse at the NBO committee meeting next month although factual everything was correct I was so dissapoined about only 3/4 small photos crammed onto one page .

Great feature on Del Boys orange scooby though

gotta say i got mine last friday and have not even bothered to read it properly, bit fed up of some of the articles and not many feature cars, needs at least 3 or 4. got an old copy of the old scooby magazine out from 4 years ago and that was a good magazine, not full of adverts and telling me how i must drive to be good.

Default Total Impreza Magazine

Good morning all

Thank you all for your comments, I have passed these to our editor who will look into this.

We still adhere to the 60/40 split in favour of editorial and will always remain to do so (someone commented on the amount of adverts we have in the magazine).

Any suggestions should be directed to our office - this is the only way we will be able to know what the readers think. As discussed at the start, we do not own these forums and, as such, we do not post to anyone direct on here. The only we can respond to you is if you contact us direct.

For those who want to see their car featured : All clubs in the UK that support the magazine are entitled to have a club car in the magazine (the club chooses the car) and not all clubs nominate one, I would urge you to speak to your club admin if you want your car featured.

I would direct everyone to the subscriber news page on our own website where you can get the latest information on postings / communications with our subscribers. Total Car Magazines | Total Impreza | Total Evolution | Total Nissan

Here you will find the latest informartion on the strikes with links to the Royal Mail site confirming the strikes (which have affected the whole of the UK - these strikes have been official and non-official and have been designed to create maximum disruption) Ie Livingston (where we are based, went on strike one day, then the next day Edinburgh did. Our mail needs to pass through Livingston then Edinburgh to get to its destination. When sorting offices in other locations then go on strike, I am sure you can see how the delay occurs. Please check independent news sites such as the BBC if you would like verification of these strikes. Our Nissan and Evolution magazine got caught up in the strikes and we therefore kept Impreza back a week or so to ensure they were not lost in the backlog. What Royal Mail does is not within our control, we can simply try to minimise the impact for our subscribers, as we have done. Some who has called have asked why we choose to stay with Royal Mail and not move to annother carrier. A) The cost would increase for subscriber postage and B) Another carrier collects the mail but then sorts it and passes to Royal Mail to deliver which means there would be delays anyway.

There have been only 3 occasions where the subscriber copies have not been received before the on sale date in the shops. One was Christmas and 2 of these times have been through Royal Mail strikes. Each of these times, most of the subscribers have called the office for updates.

Unless we are advised (by email or phone) of a subscriber comment / query / complaint, we cannot know what you are thinking. The only reason we know of this thread is that someone took the time to email us (thanks for this).

Please do not post any questions here for us and is you want a response to your comments etc you should either email or call us. The contact details or the magazine are : admin@totalcarmagazines.co.uk and 01506 530500.

With best regards

LESLEY STEEL

We don't own the forums but we can still comment.

You are already stating your intention to ignore suggestions "We still adhere to the 60/40 split in favour of editorial and will always remain to do so. "

Not everyone is in a Club. If people submit directly you may get a more diverse selection of Scoob's.

If your dealing with Scooby's, perhaps you should look at the UK's biggest Subaru enthusiasts site to gauge your input. ScoobyNet is a good place to start.

Only some suggestions from a fan of the Total Impreza.

No, this refers to the amount of advertising that appears and the amount of editorial that appears - this is nothing to do with the comments about the type of editorial we have - I already said that I will pass these comments to our editor.

Please direct any comments / questions direct to us at admin@totalcarmagazines.co.uk or by calling 01506 530500.
