There are only the two of us now. We shop in a variety of stores such as Lidl's,Somerfield's,M&S,Morrisons etc.

The cost has gone up significantly these days and to be honest I don't like to add it up any more!

Me and the Mrs do a fortnightly shop at Asdas and we budget £80. This includes all toiletries, cleaning stuff etc. Last couple of times we've ben around the £75 mark, and it's not all Smart Price crap either. We are just good at honing out the bargains, or the "so many for so much" offers.

I don't get how some can spend like £100 a week on 2 people or something, but having never been in the situation to afford that kind of shopping bill...

With steak a £8 a serving it's easy....

P.S. I'd only feed steak to my dogs, too many chemicals, IMHO.
