I've already done that.

I think in the pics you can see the dust on the inner arch liners. they were removed when the car was painted so no overspray on them! Just dust from storage!!

That looks excellent mate witht the dark wheels, you have done a top job
What did you use to paint them (got any left?
)
(BTW you're going to have to change the font colour you write with now slightly brighter!!

Right, I've pretty much finished the exterior now, I've added a little twist based on my user name for the decals on the fog covers as I didn't want to go down the usual STi route
Masking tape was applied to the covers (as I had done on my centre caps), cut out by hand and painted then laquered over so that the blue was a pefect match

Painted the other two wheels too and my brakes black

Anyway I bring you on to the finished article.....

For all those who haven't read through the entire thread, this is what has been done bodywork wise
Bodykit removed and all holes welded and smoothed over,
Headlamp washers jet removed, holes plastic welded and smoothed,
Front bumper extended at the bottom by approx 2" to cover bottom of the intercooler,
Windscreen washer jets removed, holes welded, smoothed and jets relocated to scuttle panel,
A pillar aerial removed, hole welded and smoothed,
Boot lock removed hole welded and smoothed,
Mid level boot spoiler fitted and 3rd brakelight removed and smoothed,
Rear numberplate recess shortened and led no plate lamp fitted.
Re-spray in Ford electric blue with Ford polaris grey wheels, mirrors and fog covers.
ALL work was carried out by myself in my garage at home.
Hope you all like c&cs welcome

Absolutely awesome job, reflects the massive effort thats gone into it. Love the little subtle touches too.
Properly ashamed of my rust fixing bodge now that I did last year!

Decided to fit my £5.50 eBay bargain

So much better than the old airbag 'bus' wheel that comes as standard
Just need the non airbag cowl and horn connection now, if anyone has them!
Decided as I'd ditched the airbag to remove all the uneccessary wiring and controls......

Took quite some time to remove, but I saved a whopping 4.263kgs
in weight removing it!!
